"Y-You want to run away!?" I yelled.

"Yes," She answered.

"Where would we even go!?"

"We can go to Hoshido."

"I doubt Prince Takumi will allow us to stay," I answered her.

Peri frowned.

"She's serious," I thought to myself.

I closed my eyes and thought for a moment.

"Laslow?"

I opened my eyes and looked at the two maids. "Can you guys leave us?"

The twins nodded and walked out. I looked back at the girl.

"Peri, are you sure you want to run away?"

"Yes!" She yelled at me.

I closed my eyes and thought again. After a few moments of silence, I opened them and looked at her.

"What if I told you we can run away...To another timeline?"

Peri gave me a strange look.

"Another timeline? Laslow, that's ridiculous! There's no way you can be from the past or the future! Let alone a different world!"

I stayed silent. Peri's eyes suddenly widen. "You're...Telling the truth..."

I started walking away. "Gather your things. We leave in an hour."

"We? Who else is coming with us!?"

"Odin, Selena...And hopefully Felicia and Tsubaki. I doubt they'll come with us."

"Tsubaki?"

"I'm surprised you haven't noticed," I answered her. "Selena is head over heels for him. I saw them at the ball."

"Oh..."

I started walking away.

"Where are we even going?" Peri asked before I opened the door.

I turned and smiled at her. "Ylisse."

Peri gave me another strange look. "Yl...isse?"

"When we get there we'll explain everything to you. I promise."
