I couldn't feel my body, a shrill sound filled my ears and suddenly, everything around seemed to move fast but, me.
It felt like all the life had flown out of me. All that was left was black pit of doubt and dismal.
My breath faltered, lump started to form at my throat and once the first tear broke free, the rest followed in an unbroken stream.
And it all came back at me like a gush of the winter winds.

I was desperate.

All the texts we exchanged, all the silent confession of love, all the smiles and laughter.
I was starting to doubt if what I knew about him was even true?
And the one question kept lingering around as I blinked down another teardrop.
