         I was shaken awake.
My eyes snapped open and I saw the familiar green eyes of Orion standing above me. I jumped off my bed, putting as much distance as I could between him and I.

"What are you doing here?" I spat, hugging myself.
Orion rolled his eyes at me, "I've come to take you to your Testing."

I sucked in a deep breath and glared at him, "Go away!" I told him.
He sighed and for a moment he looked less like a robot, "Can't do that Addieca, now come on." He took a step towards me.
I backed away from him, "Go! Away!" I yelled at him again.

"You're not going to like what I'm about to do." Orion informed. I looked at him with confusion, "What are you-" I didn't have any time to wonder what he was talking about, until he rushed at me, spun me around and shoved me against the wall. I screamed loudly and tried to struggle away from him. But it was no use, he held my wrists together behind my back. I screamed at him to let me go and I tried to kick him but he held on tightly. Orion led my slowly through the hall and whenever I would struggle he would push my arms up painfully. It would stop my from struggling and I would walk without any more mishaps.

He pulled me through the room from yesterday, which was now empty. There was a door tucked near the back of the room and Orion pulled me towards it.

Pulling me through the door, it was another white room like the one I had woke up, except this room was bigger.

The boys and girls from the table yesterday, were all standing waiting for me.
The snotty girl from last night raked her eyes across me and spoke up rather loudly, "For someone who said she's able to survive, she looks rather pitiful, don't you think Wendy?" She asked the short, dark haired girl with glasses.

The girl – Wendy didn't say anything she just kept her eyes on the ground. I took a threatening step towards the two of them, but Orion held me back.

"There will be no fighting among the Subjects." Orion said, giving my arms a harsh jerk. He dropped my arms and I rotated my shoulders to remove the kinks in my shoulders.

"Addieca come sit over here." Victor stood up from his seat and he walked me over with a welcoming smile. I went to move beside him, when a hand grabbed my arm. Orion pulled me back and I whipped around to glare at him. I was going to say something to him, but instead I just yanked my arm away from him and stomped over to Victor.

Not a moment after a woman with pale skin, blonde hair, and blazing blue eyes, walked into the room, her face was twisted into a sour look. Hey eyes held nothing but a cold, seriousness that raked over everyone. Orion took a step back to let her through. The woman's eyes looked us all over, her blazing eyes stayed on me for a second longer before moving on.
A cold smile pulled onto her thin lips, "Welcome, I'm sure you all remember me. I'm here to fill in our newest Subject," her eyes flickered back to me. "and I'm here to fill you in on what's going to happen to you, seeing how there is now only twenty of you left. You'll be out through simulation after simulation until ten of you is all that's left. After ten have been narrowed down, you'll be assessed until there is only five of you. The five that are left will have the honor in joining us, you'll have jobs to do, the ranks you have by the time there are five of you will determine just where you will be placed in our society. But some of you will learn about this later." The woman finished her speech and it appeared I wasn't the only one who hasn't heard this speech. My eyes traveled from her to Orion, who didn't meet my eyes at all; he looked everywhere else but me.

"Let's get started than." A cruel smile played on the woman's face. Hands grabbed my shoulders and two men wearing white, started to pull me towards one of the cold metal tables. I struggled against them at first, unwilling to comply with them, until I realized that no one else was fighting back. I let myself be pulled back to the table.

"Relax. It won't be so bad." The woman said to me, her blazing eyes were sparkling with amusement. I sucked in a deep breath and the men held me down as another woman with ashy red hair, twisted my head one way and stabbed me with a long needle. Rushing the hammer on the syringe down, a burning hot liquid entered my veins. The hands let me go but I could do nothing to stop the fire that climb and sear its way into my body. My chest tightened like coils around my lungs and breathing became tedious.

While everyone else around me was laying back upon the table sleeping, I was awake and straining for every breath.
Orion stepped in, "What's going on? Is it usually like this?"
The red-head spoke, "Usually there's pain but as soon as the other patients feel it, they're out like a light. They don't usually stay awake this long.

Her body is trying to fight off the serum, that's why it's keeping her from falling under." The pain was excruciating and I begged my body to let me go as limp as everyone else in the room but I was as ridged as a pole.

"What happens if her body doesn't shut down?" Orion asked, his voice was void of all emotion.
The red-head only shrugged, "It could either wear her body down until she too passes out and joins the others or the pain could trick her body into thinking that she's dead and shut everything down in her body until she does die.

But seeing how she's still up and straining to breath, even if she does pass out she'll be way behind the others."
Orion just nodded and took a step back, away from me, but his eyes never strayed away.

Just pass out! I begged my body to shut down, to pass out, but it kept me up.
They just stared me. They didn't say a word, they watch me whither in pain until I saw black cloud my vision. Every time the peaceful blackness came into sight my body would shove it away, welcoming the pain, but this time, when the darkness came creeping up into my vision again my body wasn't able to push it away. I felt my body fall and hit the cold metal.
