I was awoken to smoke suffocating me. Shot out of bed in an instant. The room was starting to fill with dark smoke and my brain kicked into autopilot. I ran to the door and threw open and I was hit by a wall of thick smoke that burnt my eyes.

"Orion!" I shouted trying to see though the dense smoke that was already filled up the whole house.

I heard a cough and Orion's voice cut through the smoke, "I'm right here!" and I saw his dark shape through the dark mass in front of me. I was beside him in an instant and I was frantic, "Come on we have to put it out before it burns down the whole house!" and I went to move back into the fire but arms wrapped around my waist and I was pulled off my feet.

"It's too late for that, we need to get out of here!" Orion pulled me to the door.

"No!" I screamed and I tried to lash out at him but he just pulled me towards the door quicker. "I can't leave this house, it's all I have left! I grew up here, I live here! Let go of me!" I cried and coughed as smoke burnt my lungs and eyes.

He dropped me on the hard compacted dirt when we were far enough away from my now burning house. The bright orange flames cut through the dark night like a beckon and I watched helplessly on the side lines.

"How could this happen? How did this happen?" I wailed into the night, before my body was over run by a fit of coughs. Orion stayed silent as he watched my house burn and later the barn as well caught on fire. We listened to the pitiful cried of horses echoed through the dark. I lost everything I had ever shrived to keep to keep alive all drifted up like the smoke int he sky and I couldn't cry anymore.
