Me and my brother enter a grocery store in search of any food. We don't care anymore how bad it tastes or how sick it will make us. It doesn't matter how infested with nuclear radiation it is. We need to eat. We haven't eaten in about ten days.

I leave the hospital when the nurse comes and tells me that it's time to go. I push the door open and walk towards my car. I get in. I turn the car on. I drive. I drive for hours on end until I run out of gas. I don't know where I'm heading or why I'm doing this. But the end is near, and I don't want to die knowing how much I could've done. I walk to the nearest gas station and exchange all the money I have for gas. I head back towards my car.
In back on the road now, and see a sign. "Welcome to Pennsylvania". I suddenly know where my gut is taking me.
