Ben's POV
We walked out of the church with the bridesmaids and the groomsmen not far behind us. We all got into the limo with everyone else who was at the wedding in different limos. We drove to the castle where we were having the party. We finally got there and before we walked into the party Mal changed into a more comfortable dress but still a very pastel purple. We were just about to walk in but Chip insisted he announce us even though we hate being announced into a room.
"Mr. and Mrs.Adams"Chip announced as we walked in to the ballroom.
We walked in a greeted everyone. Mal went to go get a drink and I was just talking to my parents.
Mal's POV
I walked over to get a drink when someone stated talking to me.
"Mal he actually married you" Queen Leah stated
"What do you mean" I questioned
"Well the obvious reason he is marrying you is so you can have a child and then his family will still be in line for the kingdom. But as soon as you have a child he's going to divorce you. He doesn't actually love you. Your a villain I can't believe you actually thought he loved you no one could love a villain especially one like you."she said now tears running down my face and then she walked away
Ben's POV
I glanced over to Mal to see her crying I walked over to her.
"Mal what's wrong"I said putting my hands on her shoulders
"Queen Leah is what's wrong"she said sobbing
I walked her over to a corner so we could talk more privately.
"Why what happened"I asked worried
"She-said-th-that-y-you-only-m-married-m-me-s-so-y-your-f-family-w-would-s-stay-i-in-li-line-f-for-th-the-kingdom-and-th-that-y-you-couldn't-l-love-a-a-vill-villain-l-like-m-me"she said sobbing between every word. I tensed up but I knew Mal hated it when I turned all beast on her so I tried to calm down. I pulled her into a quick hug and lay go. Then mom and dad walked over.
"What's wrong with Mal"mom questioned worriedly
"She said that Queen Leah said that I only married her so our family could stay in line for the kingdom. And that I could never love a villain like her"I said hugging her.
"Mal you know none of that is true. I don't care about your past. And I would've married you king or no king. I love you and nothing is gonna change that okay"I said finally speaking
Then Evie and Jay noticed us and both walked over.
"Mal what's wrong"she said with worry in her voice crouching down next to her
"Queen Leah"Mal said
"Well you know what I'm gonna go and have a stern talking with her and while we're at it her face can meet my fist"she said starting to walk over to her
"Oh no you don't" Jay said slightly picking her up and placing her in front of him then Mal stated laughing. Evie and her hormonal outbursts could always make her laugh they were pretty hysterical especially at the tourney game that one time.
"But she mad Mal cry on HER WEDDING DAY" she said starting to walk over to her again. Jay picked her up and carried her over his shoulder
"Evie why don't we cool down you need a break"Jay said walking away
"Jay!! Put me down!!"she said yelling as they walked out of the ballroom to the backyard.
Evie's POV
"Alright Jay seriously put me down!"I shouted. We were finally in the backyard.
"Evie you need to take a deep breathe"Jay said putting me down. I took a deep breath
"Why did you bring me out here"I asked annoyed
"Because if I didn't you would've punched Leah and made things a lot worse"he said
"I'm sorry it's the hormones"I said now crying
"Sh it's okay there's nothing to be sorry about"he said pulling me into a hug. I don't know what it is about him but his voice could sooth me no matter what is going on. I wiped away my tears
"Come on let's go check on Mal"I said
We walked inside and sure enough she was still sat in the corner crying.
"Evie you have to do something she won't listen to anything we say"Ben said and you could hear him about to break down in tears
"Mal"I said walking towards her "Mal you listen to me right now. Who care what Leah said she's not going to be queen anymore Aurora and Philip's coronation is in 2 months. And guess what in a week you'll be queen. And no matter what your past is Ben loves you for you. Just because your kid of villain doesn't define you. Ben didn't marry you so his family could stay in line for the kingdom. He married you because he loves you. Remember he promised in sickness and in health for richer or poor. Ok he loves you don't listen to what anyone says"I finished my rant and stood up and let Ben sit next to her. He sat down next to her a hugged her and she hugged him back.
"I love you"she said
"I love you too"Ben said as they both stood up and kissed.
"Thanks E"Mal told me
"No problem"I said as I hugged her
Carlos walked up to her.
"You good Mal"he asked
"Yea. I'm good"she said and I could hear the confidence in her voice
Mal's POV
Later when everyone left there was just Me,Evie,Jay,Carlos,and Ben. Our parents had went to bed.
"So where are you guys going on your honeymoon" Carlos asked us
"The beach off of where Queen Ariel and King Eric live" Ben said
"Oh cool"he said
I looked over and Evie was sound asleep. Jay picked her up bridal style.
"Alright well we gotta go"Jay said
"Alright bye Jay"I said "Make sure Evie gets enough sleep and controls those mood swings of hers even though they are hilarious"I said laughing
Jay chuckled "Will do" he said and walked out the door.
"Alright well I should get going "Carlos said standing up
"Alright bye Carlos"Ben said
"Have fun on your honeymoon"he said as he walked out
"Thanks"I said
And he left. Me and Ben decided to go up to bed since it was pretty late and we had to get up early. We walked up the perfectly polished stairs and walked into our room we changed into our pajamas and went to sleep.
