Jay's POV
I can't believe Evie is pregnant. I'm still in shock but ultimately happy about it. We have school today even though I don't want to go I know we have to. I woke up and Evie was sound asleep.
Evie's POV
Jay woke me me up for school which I really didn't want to go but if I had to go. I woke up and got up out of bed and a wave a sickness struck me. I bolted to the bathroom. I was puking and I felt someone pull my hair away from me and rub circles on my back.
"Are you ok" he asked when I was done
"Yea I'll be fine. Come on we are going to be late for school"I told him
We finished getting ready and walked to the tourney field where we decided to meet before school. I barley made it to all my classes before lunch.
At lunch.
We had all had gotten our lunches and walked over to the table. We all sat down at the table and we're making small talk with each other. Suddenly a wave of sickness struck me again. I ran to the nearest bathroom.
"EVIE"I heard Mal keep calling out to me but I just kept running.
Mal's POV
I'm really worried about Evie this is the second day in a row she's been sick.
"I'm going to see if Evie is ok" I said
"No there's no need she'll be fine"Jay protested
"Jay she's obviously not fine she's sick and needs to go to a doctor"I shouted
"Mal calm down"Ben whispered
"She's not sick"he whispered
"What do you mean she's not sick. What do you call that then"I asked him
"It will be better if we wait for Evie to come back" he said
"Why can't you just tell us"Carlos questioned
He ignored Carlo's question. I was really starting to get worried. What was wrong with Evie? What did Jay mean by she's not sick? A million thoughts were running through my head right now. Evie walked out and we all just looked at her.
"Did you tell them" Evie said in a panic
"No I didn't tell them anything I swear" Jay said
"Tell us what"Ben questioned
"Nothing"Evie said quickly
"Evie" Jay said
"I just can't do this right now" she said bursting into tears and running to her dorm
"EVIE" Carlos,Me,and Ben called out to her
"I'll go check on her" Jay stated as he chased after her
Jay's POV
I made it to Evie's dorm I opened the door and there she was sobbing on her bed.
"Evie"I said gently
No answer. I walked over to her bed and laid down next to her and embraced my arms around her. She turned to face me.
"Jay I'm so sorry" she said sobbing into my chest
"Sh-sh-sh there's no need to be sorry"I told her "Do you want to take about it"I asked her.
"Yea"she replied
"So happened out there i thought you wanted to tell them today"I questioned very gently because I could tell she was still very sensitive about it
"I did but when it came the time I just panicked" she said
"Evie we are going to have to tell them at some point or at least before you start showing" I told her
"I know" she said
I got up form the bed "come on we have 10 minutes before this period is over and we have to go to our next class" I stated I held out my hand for her to grab it. We walked back to lunch but when we were walking I texted Mal Ben and Carlos telling them not to ask anything about what had happened that she really didn't want to talk about it. We walked back over there and they all just looked at us. Then the bell rang thank god. Me and Evie both had the next two classes together. We barley made it through the last 2 classes. I had a bunch of homework and told her I would be by later.
Mal's POV
"Hey Ben is it ok if I go home with Evie for a bit I want to talk to her about what happened during lunch" I asked
"Yea sure. But didn't Jay say not to bother her about it" he questioned
"Who cares what he said" I told him
I walked to Evie's dorm.
"Hey Mal what are you doing here"she asked me
"I wanted to ask you what happened at lunch today" I said
"Mal I really don't want to talk about that right now" she said now walking in to her room.
"Why not" I asked
"Because I don't Mal please I promise I will tell you when I'm ready" she said with tears forming in her eyes
"Why can you tell Jay and not me. Evie you have been sick for 2 days and you ran out at lunch crying" I said
"Mal I said I don't want to talk about it right now I'm just not ready" she said starting to cry and pacing around her room
"But how come you were ready to tell Jay but not me" I questioned
"Mal I'm just not ready to tell you okay"she said and with that she ran out of the dorm sobbing.
