LaLa was being real. And I hated it. My dad had cancelled all my credit cards and stopped paying my car note when he found out I was pregnant. My mom persuaded him into paying it again.

LaLa and I started packing for New Orleans. LaLa was bringing some guy named Marco. We pulled up at Odell's place. Odell already knew LaLa was coming and so was her friend.( LaLa was paying her own way for the hotel.) We were waiting for LaLa's friend to come and Odell thought it would be a good idea to take pics of me.

I admit it was pretty awkward on that plane. Marco and LaLa were all cozy and me and Odell were just there. It was like we were third wheels.
When we landed I was just overcome with joy. I hadn't been to Louisiana in two years.
We went by Odell's moms place. I couldn't believe the little ones remembered me. I wasn't around much for Sonny, he was born around the end of our relationship. Mama H asked questions like "How do you feel?" "How often does he kick?" "Do you have any back pain?" "When is your due date?" "Do you plan on going back to work after he's here?" "How's your mom?" "Has New York been treating you well." Then Senior came in with Sonny making a whole scene. "Where's the lady with grand baby?!" Trying to rhyme. Mama H fixed up some good food. We had a crawfish boil. With Jambalaya and cat fish. We both had a good time. After that whole thing we headed to the hotel. We would be staying at Hotel Monteleone.

It was very nice. LaLa and Marco have their own room, and Odell and I have our own room. The workers took our things up to our room. We had the penthouse. Thank God there were separate rooms. I don't think he would try anything. I hoped he wouldn't cuz that would just be weird. When we got settled I sat down in the living room and flipped through the TV guide.
"So I'm a little confused." He said.
"About?"
"Everything." I could see he was pretty frustrated. I always knew what he meant though. "Your pregnant and your hiding it. I just think I should let people know."
"No. I don't feel comfortable with that."
"I'm not embarrassed of this baby at all."
"Neither am I. I just don't feel comfortable."
"Okay but it's gonna bite us in the ass." He said in surrender.
I didn't feel comfortable with doing that. I value my privacy. I don't need to be labeled as OBJ's baby mother. Odell was right though. It was gonna come back and bite me in the ass. I just didn't know when.
