Saturday night.
Your boyfriend Will gave you and your friend a ticket to the leafs game tonight.
You couldn't be more excited. This is your first time in a while you got to see Will play.
The game started at 7, it was currently 5:30. You and your friend decided to leave now so you could get to the arena at 6 and watch warmups at 6:30.
"Ready to go?" Y/BF/N asked.
"Yup!"
You two got in the car and you were off.
You were wearing Williams jersey while your friend was wearing an Auston Matthews one. You two had a mini jam session on the way there. Summer friends by Chance the Rapper came on. You got an idea.
"Heyyyy...Y/BF/N, did you see the video of William and his brother jam out to this song on instagram?" You asked her.
She laughed.
"Yes hahahah, I did."
"We should remake it."
Your friend turned to you.
"Okay! Lets do it!"

(If you haven't seen the video of Alex and William jamming to this, I highly suggest you go on Williams Instagram and look at it now. It's from July)

You finished making the video and decided to send it to William. You laughed to yourself. He probably won't get it right now because he's getting ready for the game.

You guys arrived at the arena and walked in. You went through security blah blah blah, then you got into the actual arena part and went down to the glass and waited for warmups.
It was finally 6:30 and out came the boys. They started shooting pucks into the net. You were looking for William, but you couldn't seem to find him.
"Ahh! Auston looks so good!" Y/BF/N shouted at you due to the loud music.
"Uh yeah. But where's my good looking man?" You asked her.
She looked around.
"Oh yeah? Where on earth is he?"
You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around. It was a man who worked in the locker room.
"Are you Y/N?" He asked you.
You slowly nodded.
"Ah! Ok! When warmups are over, can you please come meet me in the front of the arena?"
"Oh, yeah, um, sure!"
"Ok! Perfect thanks!"
He then walked away.
"Hmm. Wonder what that's about." You said to your friend. She shrugged her shoulders.
Was William hurt? What was wrong? Worried thoughts kept going through your mind.
Warmups ended and you and your friend made your way to the front of the arena. You saw the man.
"Ah! There you are! We're gonna go in the back, by the locker room. William has a surprise for you."
You were confused. You and your friend looked at eachother.
"Uh. Okay!"
You followed the man to the back.
It was 7:04pm, and the leafs boys made their way onto the ice for the national anthem. You got to fist bump all of them on the way out. You saw William and he just winked at you and smiled. You smiled back at him. After "oh Canada" the arena was still dark and the announcer came on, "we have a special surprise for Y/N/LN, come on out."
Your face got red, but you walked out and onto the carpet. Then all of a sudden, William came skating over to you with a bouquet of flowers and you put your hand over your mouth.
"Y/N, will you go to prom with me?"
People in the audience had white poster boards with letters that spelled out PROM?
You cried of joy.
"YES!!" And you hugged him. He had to lean down a bit because he was so tall with skates on. Everyone cheered. You heard Marner yell, "ATTA BOY WILLY!"
You laughed and then you felt Williams lips against yours. When you pulled away, you two looked at each other and smiled. "I love you" he said. You smiled. "I love you too."
