"Am I supposed to change? Are you supposed to change?
Who should be hurt? and who should be blamed?
Am I supposed to change? Are you supposed to change?
Who should be hurt? Who should be ashamed?
Am I supposed to change? Are you supposed to change?
Who should be hurt? Will we remain?
You need a resolution, I need a resolution,
We need a resolution, We have so much confusion"

Resolution.
For months, Zayn had felt confused about everything that had occured.
From somehow missing his ex during their break-up to being attracted to his new fake boyfriend.. it seems that Zayn has finally found the resolution to his problem. He can't keep thinking about both of them, and there was something he needed to do.
Who was he going to choose? ...
It's 11pm when he finally leaves the Constellation Club, Liam never having arrived. Although it upset him that he didn't show, he wasn't going to dwell on it.
He heads to his car and gets inside. Luckily it's dark out and there's no paparazzi in sight.
Zayn sits in his car for a moment, thinking about all the shit that he's been through and it's been a crazy ride.
He puts the seat back and lies for a moment.
His phone starts buzzing in his pocket and he answers it, noticing it was Harry calling him.
"Hello?" He says groggily. He's a bit buzzed from the drinks he had earlier inside the club. He can faintly still hear the music blasting and he finds himself nodding along.
"Hi Zee. Can we talk?"
Zayn notices that Harry sounds a bit nervous, very opposite of the confidence he always seemed to have.
"Sure babe, what's up?" he says in a soothing tone of voice.
"I've been thinking a lot lately, mostly about us. I know that your ex will always be special to you, but I can't help but notice the lingering stares between us, the spark that's there when you touch me, or even how high I feel whenever we kiss. I just wanna know if there's something more between us than just the pretend dating.. Do you feel the same?"
"Harry, I -"
"I'm tired of the uncertainty, I guess this is the liquid courage talking. If there's even the smallest chance you do feel the same, please meet me at Club Paradise at 12. And if you decide not to show, it's okay."
"Harry, wait-"
Click.
Well fuck. Harry hung up the phone before Zayn could even respond.
He couldn't deny anything Harry had said, because he's been feeling it too for a while now.
But was it a strong enough feeling to drop Liam?
He thought about Jhene's words, knowing she had been completely right about one thing,
"You will never move on from your ex if you keep thinking that one day he's gonna change and be the person you want him to be."
