~Chapter Seventeen~

After the meteor shower ended, Lyle and I decided to head inside, since we wanted to sleep in a bed tonight.

Inside, we found that Henry, Cameron, and, Damien were watching a movie.

"Hey, what're you watching?"

"We didn't look at the title. We just picked it."

"Because..."

"No particular reason."

Okay...

"So, where have you and Lyle been at?"

"Um..."

...Kissing...

"Busy."

"Okay..."

"Want to watch the movie with us?"

"Sure!"

So, Lyle and I sat down, and, together, we watched a funny comedy.

"Let's watch another one!"

"No."

We all turned to Cameron.

"Why not?"

"Because, it's a school night."

"Are you seriously going to ruin our fun?!"

"Lyle..." Cameron said, while giving a death glare.

"Um... Goodnight!" Lyle said, before running off.

Probably to his room.

"Do I need to give anyone else a reason to go to bed?"

"Don't you date let this get to your head, Cameron!" Damien said, while standing up.

Damien then left.

"Well, since I'd rather not fight, I'll just go." Henry said, before leaving.

"(y/n)."

"What?! I'm going!" I said, while standing up.

"That wasn't it."

"Then, what is it?!"

"I just... I hope you sleep well tonight..."

"Oh, well, thank you."

I then left.

As I walked down the hall, I passed Hunter's room.

I wonder... Where has he been, all day?

Curiosity taking over, I knocked.

When the door opened, I saw hunter, looking perfectly normal.

"Hey."

"Hey. Where have you been? You missed a pool/movie night!"

"Busy."

"Oh, okay. Need any help."

"No."

Why do I have a feeling that he's hiding something from me?

"Okay, well, I guess I'll go now. Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

I then left, and, entered my room.

As I fell asleep, I went through all the events of today. Something bad's going to happen soon.

... I just know it...
