I'll Go With You

Hermione's Pov

As Ron and I is sitting here at the staircase of Hogwarts, we saw Harry going down, to us.

"You're not going to the forests are you mate?" Ron said, with a tone of fear in his voice

"I'm going there now"

No this can't be! He can't die! What if this is the last time I see him? I feel that my tears streaming down my eyes

"Are you mad!?" Ron said with tears

"W-what d-do you.. k-know" I can't take this anymore, I don't want him to go, I just want him to stay here, with me. I just want to fight with him, win this battle with him....

"Everything" he said calmly. I sighed.

He now knows that he's a horcrux, that he had to die, to win this battle

I sob as I approach to him

"I'll go with you!" Now a lot of tears streaming down my eyes

"No. Kill the snake, kill the snake then it's just him to defeat. And I know you can do it, I know you you can defeat him"

"Please Harry, don't, please"

He just smiled at me, a forced one. A sad smile

"Goodbye Ron, Hermione" he smiled once again. Please, this is just a dream, a dream that I will wake up right now, but no, this is not.

As Harry is walking down the stairs, I ran towards him, hugged him tight

"P-Please, p-romise me t-that you w-will come back alive, please, we can do this together, promise me, please" I cried at him.

"I can't promise you anything 'Mione, but remember this, we'll see each other again sometime"

I hugged him, again. Then, doing the unexpected,

I kissed him, on the lips, this is the moment I realized that I love him, we've been together through thin and thick, and I know we can do this

I broke the kiss and said "I love you, Harry, so much"

"I love you too, 'Mione" then he kissed my forehead

As he left, I go back to Ron and cried, until my tears ran out... knowing he will gonna face his unavoidable death
