Chapter 25

Its early morning. Derek left saying he had something to do. I hear movement in Stiles' room, I walk in and see him. 

"Hey, you alright?" 

He shakes his head, 

"Um... no not really, I need to go somewhere, could you come with me?" 

"Of course let me go and change quickly" 

I quickly go and change and then meet Stiles back in his room, 

"Where are you wanting to go?" 

"Um... the um... Hospital" 

I nod and wrap my arm around him. I get in my car and tell him to do the same. We get to the hospital and walk up to the front desk I see Melissa, Stiles looks at her then says, 

"I need to see Doctor Gardener" 

"Doctor Gardener isn't back until next week. Do you want to try waiting for another doctor or" 

Stiles stands up straighter, his eyes are watery. 

"Stiles... Are you okay?" 

He shakes his head, 

"No... I guess not" 

"Alright kiddo. Come with me" 

I sit down and tell him I'll be outside. Half an hour later, Melissa comes out of the room her eyes watery, I get up and walk to her. 

"What? What is it?" 

"Mack, you're not gonna want to hear this" 

"What? Hear what?" 

She sighs and puts her hands on my shoulders. 

"Mackenzie, he has symptoms of what Claudia had" 

My hands start shaking which isn't good my hands usually shake before I'm about to breakdown. I feel tears fall down my face, 

"Honey, I'm so sorry." 

I'm still crying. 

"No it can't be right. He can't have it" I cry out 

"He does. I think you should tell your Uncle" 

I nod and leave tears staining my face. I drive to the station and walk to the desk 

 I see Parrish at the desk.

"Hello how can I help you?"

"Parrish? Is it possible I could see my Uncle?" 

He looks up and gets off the chair and comes to my side he rubs my arms. 

"Yes of course, are you alright?" 

I shake my head. I walk into the office and see my Uncle. 

"Mackenzie? What happened?" 

I walk over to him 

"It's Stiles, this morning he asked me to take him to the hospital and Melissa checked him over and then she told me..." 

He takes my hand. 

"What Mackenzie what is it?" 

"She told me that... Stiles showed the same symptoms to what Claudia had." 

He looks at me and starts to cry. I hug him and then remember that I need to be at Scott's soon. I pull away from my Uncle's embrace. 

"I need to be at Scott's I need to help him with something"
