Ch. 11 I Chat With My Father And Girlfriend's Mom

Lucian 

   So, after we were done getting snacks at the kitchen. We headed for the mess hall, where we were greeted by some really unexpected guest. 

"Mother!" a shocked Ezzy practically shouted as she noticed Hecate and Hephaestus sitting at my cabins table talking. Hecate looked up and gestured us to come and sit.

 "Hi dad." I said waving at Hephaestus who nodded in acknowledgement, still working on a tiny animatronic dog.

 "Hello my daughter." Hecate greeted Ezzy. "You fought well Ezmeralda, the Chimera is-" "One of the most difficult monsters to defeat,  let alone by myself I know." Ezzy cut in a soft tone in her voice. Hecate just smiled. 

"Lucian, the shield you made this morning looked flawless. You did a good job." Hephaestus told me. I felt a swell of pride in my chest. "Father, Hecate why have you come?" 

   This was a valid question to say the least. "Well, you see Hephaestus and I have been working on a project for you eight. And well..." she waved her hand over the table making eight necklaces with amulets. Each a different colored stone to match our eyes, with our godly parents symbols engraved into them. "They will allow you to communicate to each other. No matter where you are using telepathy." Hephaestus explained. "And they will glow to let you know how the person you are talking to is feeling." Hecate added. 

    I grabbed the one with the flaming hammer, and Ezzy the one with a raven. Testing one, two, come in Ezzy the beautiful testing . I thought not thinking it was gonna work. Aww, Thanks Lucian. I heard her voice in my head and jumped out of my seat to the reply. She giggled and helped me up. "Well, they work. Thank you mother, and Hephaestus I'm sure the others will be just as grateful." Ezzy told them sincerely. "While we are here Hephaestus, we should visit our other children as well." "I suppose your right, see you later Lucian, Ezmeralda." And with that they walked off. Leaving me and Ezzy the necklaces. She delivered the girls, and I the boys.

  Later that day we found out all of the gods were visiting their children and the kids from the Roman camp too. It was nice. Then the campfire came. Zeus stood up and cleared his throat. Everyone quieted down. "I know your all, probably wondering why all of the gods are at Camp-Half blood. And the truth is Hera felt that we should spend a day with our children every month. So that's what we shall be doing from now on." he paused looking at his wife like happy?  " Now Artemis has some thing she would like to say." Artemis stood up from where she was with her daughter and her hunters. "I'd just like to say that I wish you luck for the rest of the week Kelly. And if you do so chose you can stay as you are right now. I will be back at the end of the week." and with that she sat down.

  Then they said their goodbyes, and I walked Ezzy back to her cabin and kissed her goodnight. And went to my cabin and called for my room, walked in, took my shirt off and climbed into bed. With one thought in my head. I love you Ezmeralda Thompson. A moment passed and a sleepy reply came with Ezzy's voice ringing in my head. I love you too, Lucian Beam.

   Then I fell asleep. I dreamt of her holding a little girl, and we chased her around camp until I caught her. I knew it was a vision of the future, and that only made my love for Ezzy stronger.
