Chapter Two (Seating Arrangement)
“Goodmorning Class, You will have now your new seating arrangement. And as the first one to be move into a new seat is Ms. Perez followed by You Mr. Alcantara”
(Brandon's Pov)
Nagulat ako ng bigla kong marinig ang pangalan ko. Masyado akong abala sa pag sosolve ng problem set na ibinigay sa amin ni hindi ko na narinig yung unang sinabi ni Maam Alvarez. Agad akong tumayo at binulungan ako ni Geof na kuhanin ang bag ko para lumipat ng upuan. Ngayon ko lang napagtanto na may bagong seating arrangement pala.
Dali dali akong lumipat ng upuan. At sa di inaasahang pagkakataon ay naging katabi ko si Natalia. Ang babaeng ni minsan ay hindi ako kinaibigan. Alam kong may kakaiba sa kanya siguro dahil hindi niya ako nagugustuhan hindi tulad ng mga kaklase naming babae na parating dumidikit sa akin.
I must admit Im almost perfect. Mayaman,matalino at higit sa lahat gwapo. Isa akong half korean. My mother is a korean but she was raised here in the Philippines by her parents since most of their business was established here. While my father is a doctor. Anyway enough of that introduction. I am Brandon Miguel Lee Alcantara the school's genius heartrob.
Nagsimula na ang klase at tila wala paring kibo si Natalia. Samantalang naririnig ko naman ang iba kong mga kaklase na tila tinutukso kami. Pinangunahan ito ng magaling kong kaibigan na si Albert.
"Migs bagay kayo!" aniya ni Albert.
"Pre chicks, lapit lapit naman" sabi ng mga lalake sa likuran
Mukhang nagbablush si Natalia pero hindi parin niya ako kinakausap. Nakayuko lang siya at halatang tinatago ang kanyang mukha dahil sa pagkapula nito. Nakakatuwa naman siya kapag namumula.
Natigil ang ingay sa likod dahil sa pag saway ng prof namin. At ibinaling ko na ang atensyon ko sa klase.
Ilang minuto pa ay tumunog na ang bell na nagsasabing tapus na ang klase. Kinuha ko na ang bag ko at pumunta ng cafeteria. Umupo ako doon at nag snack habang nagbabasa ng notes ko sa next subject.
The usual scene kapag naglalagi ako dito. Ang mga babae ay tila kiti kiti. Hindi sila mapakali makuha lang ang atensyon ko. Alam kong madaming nagkakagusto sakin pero ni minsan hindi pa ako nagkaroon ng karelasyon. Ngsb nga sabi ni Albert.
Speaking of Albert. I saw him headed towards my table.
"Hey Man! zup? Nice seating arrangement back there huh?" Albert teased.
"C'mon Bert please what's the matter with that seat plan?. The usual" I said firmly.
"Yeah, yeah ohh Migs Im your bestbud since your childhood so l know if there's something with your cold heart men! I think its melting now" he smirked.
Maybe Albert's right. I always have a crush on Natalia since first year. She is plain,sweet and beautiful. Just what I wanted. But no matter how I tried to be friends or to get near her I always get my tongue tied. Maybe Im just not good at showing my feelings for a girl.
"Migs ang torpe mo Promise. Alam kong alam mo na the day you saw her there's something that strucked you"
Albert told me. I remember the first time we bumped into each other. I was in a hurry to catch my next class since I was so late. Then Accidentally I bumped into someone.
"Oh sorry miss. I didn't mean to hur----Crap Im late!"
I hurriedly left the girl without even picking her things up.
After class, I have gone to the cafeteria to eat something then a girl grab my wrist.
"Hey you! look at what you've messed up!"
I looked at her shockingly. And then I realize how beautiful she was without even recognizing her blouse that was being stained by a coffee. Not noticing the crowd staring at us.
"I did not do that miss, maybe you've got the wrong person to blame" I said to her
"Havent you forgot that you bumped into me this morning? and yet you dont even mind to say sorry ?? Well thank you for that Mr. I cant even attend my class because of you"
Then she now left the cafeteria. I do felt sorry but I have no choice but not to. I have so much pride and even though She's beautiful I wont beg for any.
Whenever there is a classroom affair Natalia always avoid me. Her attitude of hating me indeed melt my heart a bit. Maybe because She's the first one to do that to me.
Albert is snapping his finger until it got my attention.
"Knock it off men!" I said irritatedly.
"That's what Im talking about Migs. So I gotta go need to catch my next class"
