Chapter Sixty: The Deathly Hallows (Part Two)

I stood motionless in the front of the group, and Ginny collapsed against the wooden structure. Ron tried pulling me away from the front, but my feet didn't move.

"Stupid girl! Harry Potter is dead. I am your new leader, bow down to me!"

"Never!" I shouted, and he shot a spell at me. Ron quickly pulled me away and into the crowd. I breathed tensely, and I rested my head in his jacket. I didn't want to watch.

"You put your faith in me, children, and join us... or die." nobody moved and it all fell silent. Neville stepped forward and every death eater laughed.

"Draco," Lucius Malfoy sneered and, I glanced backward at him. He just stared forward, emotionless.

"Draco, come." Narcissa's voice sounded soft, yet exhausted. I tried moving out of Ron's grasp to talk to Draco, but his grip remained tight. I dreaded what he did next, as he was taken into a hug by the dark lord himself. I pushed myself out of Ron's grip and threw myself into the open.

"Draco!" I screamed, my voice was weak and parched. He stopped, but his back remained towards me.

"Draco, it's me."  every one of the death eaters started to cackle and Seamus tried to help me back.

"Stupid girl, join us if you want to live." I scoffed and spit at the ground in front of me.

"You brute, you will die in vain! You're wrong because Harry's heart beat for us, all of us! It's not over!" he shouted and drew a sword out of the sorting hat. A large thump came from the side of the deatheaters, and my breath stopped. Hagrid wasn't carrying Harry anymore.

Voldemort gaped and shot spells at Harry through the bridge, and Ron tried pulling me along to help. I saw Draco being pulled away by Narcissa, and I tried to release my arm from Ron's grip. He looked at me weakly.

"Ron, I have to..." he hesitantly loosened his grip and I silently thanked him. Sprinting over to Draco, I had almost reached him, but I had been blocked by Bellatrix. She pushed me to the ground, and I reached for my wand.

"You're supposed to be dead! Draco killed you!" she kicked my wand off the side of the bridge, and was drawing me even closer to the edge.  Her wand aimed at my chest, and she raised it.

"Avada K-" the wand was thrown out of her hand, and she was pushed down onto the platform. He helped me up, and we sprinted across the bridge." Spells shot towards us until we were across the clearing. Once we swerved around a barrier, I was pushed up against the hard surface. My eyes closed, and I felt a cold wand pressed against my neck.

"Who are you?" he strained, and I opened my eyes, full of fear, his were full of pain and heartbreak. Tears welled up in my eyes, and his look waved.

"Draco... it's me."

"No, you're not her!" I closed my eyes tightly as the wand remained pressed against my throat.

"Ask me-ask me something." he swallowed a lump in his throat.

"What was the first subject we ever studied when I was tutoring you?"

"S-swelling Soultion." he knew from the look of emotion, and he pushed his wand into his pocket.

His expression shifted just a bit but before either of us could react, a spell was shot in our direction. We both ducked, and I quickly pulled Draco to the side.

"She never stops, does she?" I muttered, growing furiously annoyed with the curly haired female.

"Oh, Ms. Weasley," she spat, "Come out to play."
