Chapter Twenty

Chapter Twenty: The Prisoner of Azkaban

Harry wanted to go see Professor Lupin after dinner and I had to go talk to someone as well. I didn't really know if I wanted to but it had to be done.

"Ready for dinner, Madeline?" I shrugged.

"Of course." we hooked arms and walked down to the Great Hall. Ghosts swerved around the doors, cheerful of our arrival.

"Madeline," Sir Nicolas smiled. "hope you're doing well." I smiled.

"Great, thank you." we entered and sat down on the Gryffindor table. There was a package for Harry.

"Wow, Harry got a new broom!" I smiled.

"Let the man through!" Seamus and Nevile sprinted towards Harry, who was now entering.

"A firebolt? Who sent it?" Harry asked curiously.

"No note, I have no clue." Ron shrugged.

"Harry," Hermione smiled holding a feather. "this came with it." Harry smiled and I did too.

Sirius. 

I picked up the scoop for the mashed potatoes, locking eye contact with the person across from me. Draco smiled at me and I couldn't help but to return it. I finished my mash potatoes and a few pieces of chicken.

Harry was so eager to ride his new broom.

"I am going to try it out!" everyone cheered and headed to watch Harry. I exited the room and followed everyone.

"I guess I will see you next year." I sighed.

"I will miss you guys." I smiled to Harry and Hermione.

"Thanks for the great year," she smiled. "and stay off that leg." I laughed and hugged them both. Once we stepped off the train, I saw a familiar pair of eyes. I turned slightly and smiled.

"Little sister, what did you-"

"do to your leg, perhaps-"

"we could help?" George and Fred nudged me a little, picking me up by my arms.

"Guys," I groan and laugh. "put me down!"  They carried me over to mum and finally set me down.

"Tsk, we are going to have to ice that one, dear." she smiled and Ginny pulled me into a hug.

"Ready kids?" we all nodded before disappearing into the car.

All these characters belong to J.K. Rowling. All credit goes to her for some of the plot and all of setting (characters, etc.) I made Maddie Weasley, that is it. I am just a girl who wants to write fanfictions.

Compared to the other chapters, the group of The Prisoner of Azkaban was very small along with this chapter. I don't know why that is, but I enjoyed writing it. Love you guys and I hope you enjoyed this selection of it.
