Chapter Eleven

Chapter Eleven: Chamber Of Secrets

Today was Saturday and all of the students planned to go to Hogsmeade. Now that I have been going to those tutoring sessions, I have managed to get my grade up to a P. Which some wouldn't say is much of an improvement, but I say it's a start. Harry and Ron think that Hagrid opened The Chamber of Secrets for some reason. I don't know why they think that but frankly, I was too excited to care.

"Are you excited, Maddie?" Hermione smiled.

"I have always wanted to g- where's Harry and Ron?" I shuffled around, thinking they might be running around.

"I have no clue, they should be there. It's not like Ron or Harry to miss Hogsmeade." she shrugged.

"They'll turn u-"

"Ms. Weasley," Snape uttered. Ugh, not again. "what do you think you're doing?" I furrowed my eyebrows together and stepped forward.

"Going to Hogsmeade, like everyone else?" I asked in more of a confused question.

"Not you, Ms. Weasley. You have to raise your grade up." I groaned. Was he trying to ruin my mood? He smirked and I flipped him off once he turned away.

"Sorry Mads, maybe another time?" I nodded.

"Good luck on finding Harry and Ron."

"Thanks," she rolled her eyes. "I'll need it." Snape left me alone and I sat down on a small bench to watch the snow fall.

"Weasley?" I heard a voice peek around the corner. I stood up and saw Malfoy.

"You know you can call me Maddie, right?" he seemed surprised.

"Do you need help studying?" he walked toward me more.

"Why aren't you at Hogsmeade?" he shrugged.

"Didn't feel like it, what about you?"

"Snape is trying to raise my grade." I looked down.

"I can help you, that's what a tutor's for, right?" I chuckled a little bit and nodded.

"Fine." I said, moving over on the bench.

"What's with you and Potter, by the way?"

"What do you mean?" I said, shuffling with the snow beneath my foot.

"Why are you hanging out with him all the time if he is always getting you in trouble?"

"He doesn't."

"Maddie, you could be much better without hi-"

"Malfoy, if that is what this is about then-"

"No, I'm sorry. Let's just study, okay?" he grabbed my books and opened them.

"So, since you got the Swelling Solution down, how about we try Sleeping Potion." I nodded and he continued helping me.

"Do you still want to do 10 tonight?" I asked and he nodded.

"That way we can test them instead of reading of them." I laughed and he smiled.

"You know Malfoy, you're not such a git after all."

"I'm really not." he winked and I laughed.

"Don't press your luck, Malfoy." He got up because everyone starting coming back.

"Oh, and Maddie?" I looked back around.

"Yeah?"

"You can call me Draco." I smiled slightly and starting walking back to the common room.

All these characters belong to J.K. Rowling. All credit goes to her for some of the plot and all of setting (characters, etc.) I made Maddie Weasley, that is it. I am just a girl who wants to write fanfictions.
