Chapter Six

Chapter Six: The Chamber Of Secrets

I woke up at about 7:00 to see Hermione sitting up on her bed, reading Hogwarts: A History.

"Morning 'Mione." she looked up and smiled.

"Morning Madeline." she had already slipped her robes on.

"You wanna go down to breakfast?" I asked her and she nodded. She lightly set her book down on the stand and started to wake Ginny.

"Ugh, what time is it?"

"7:00, so if you want to see Harry you might want to go now." she blushed and started groaning.

"Oh shut it, Hermione." she rolled over and started to get ready. Once everyone was ready, we made our way down. I sat down along with Ginny next to my twin brothers. I looked over at the empty seat next to Harry and couldn't help to wonder where Ron was.

"How did you sleep, Madeline?" Fred asked, scooping a pile of fried eggs onto his plate.

"Very well actually. Could you pass me the sausage?" I smiled and put a few links on my plate. After about 10 minutes, Hermione and I had finished eating.

"I am going to go change into some more comfortable clothes." they nodded.

"I'll come with you. I want to change too." I could tell Hermione wondered where he was too.

"Ron?" I whispered as we started walking out and she nodded.

"It's just weird, he's not one to miss breakfast." I nodded and turned the corner.

"I wouldn't thi-" I stopped in my tracks and tried not to gasp too loudly. I saw Hermione's eyes start to water and I drug her away from snogging Lavender and Ron.

"Hermione, don't cry over him. He's just a-a slug." Hermione chuckled for a second, which didn't last long, before she continued to cry. We stayed up in our dorm talking.

"Hermione, we should get to DADA before it-" I looked at the clock and saw it was almost 11:45.

"Bloody hell." I muttered under my breath.

"Want to go to Potions?" she hid her sly smile.

"I guess." I sighed. We probably should.

"Today we are learning how to brew the Swelling Solution." I groaned, I was never able to do much solutions. He paired us up and I ended up with Colin. He was taking pictures half the time and I have to say, it didn't turn out well. I was doing all the work and we all know what the result of that is. He dismissed us and I walked over to Hermione.

"How did yours end up?" Hermione asked. I gave her a look and she apologized.

"I'm sure, it'll be okay." she smiled as we walked out with Harry and Ron.

"Ms. Weasley," Snape called from behind us. I nodded at them signifying they could go. "a word." I groaned and walked back in.

"You are aware you have a T in this class." Really? I knew I was low but I didn't think I was as low TROLL.

"I will have the top of the class tutor you."

"O-okay, I'll tell her to help me study tonight?" I asked in more of a question.

"Her? Oh, Ms. Granger isn't the top of the class. Mr. Malfoy is." he said with a smirk. I groaned, not that slimy git.

"Ms. Weasley, mind your words. I already notified Draco." I groaned again, which happens to be part of my daily routine now, and started towards my common room. I guess I have to owl Malfoy. I flopped onto my bed and called Chestnut.

Malfoy-

Snape told me you have to tutor me. You probably don't want this just as much as me. But I really want my grade to raise, so where should we meet?

I told Chestnut who to bring it to and I opened the window. I hope this tutoring won't take long. I closed the window and fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow.

All these characters belong to J.K. Rowling. All credit goes to her for some of the plot and all of setting (characters, etc.) I made Maddie Weasley, that is it. I am just a girl who wants to write fanfictions.
