Polyamory & The Wiccan Rede

(don't harm others or yourself and you can do what you wish)

Polyamory: Polyamory means a group of three or more people who have loving and committed relationships with one another. Sometimes there is a primary couple and a secondary couple.

You might find polyamorous relationships strange since they are less popular then monogamous (2 people) relationships. But remember its important not to discriminate against others, look at them with love and understanding "soft of eye and light of touch" & "merry meet and merry part, bright the cheeks and warm the heart" don't bully them for being different. Bullying causes emotional harm/ violence and sometime physical "An ye harm none do what ye will" so don't bully someone for being different other wise Karma (3 fold law: "mind the threefold law you should, three times bad and three times good") will pay you a visit. Wiccan's tend to be very accepting of sexuality so polyamorous couples are more common then in other religions.

Many people assume that it's harmful for children to have more than two parents. Of course, multiple parents are common in stepfamilies, where a child may have as many as four parents from two blended families. In the many cultures where polygyny is permitted, children often grow up with several mothers who cooperate in caring for each other's children. And from time immemorial, older brothers and sisters, as well as extended families of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, have shared family compounds and taken on significant roles as caretakers. Its not like a polyamorous group will have sexual actions in front of their children, the only thing they really need to explain to their children is that they all love each other.
