Today was supposed to be a free day for me. I should be lying down, but here I was, doing something but that.
"What are you doing here?" I asked Sendoh, who was currently standing in front of our gate while carrying -- guess what, a bag of lemons.

"Your mom called me, she said that you need me here." He says as he invited himself in, handing me the bag. "I'm also here to return your umbrella."
"Why would she tell you that?" I asked as I open the front door. Llyr meowed the moment Sendoh stepped foot inside our home. He remained standing while Llyr purred as she rubbed her head on Sendoh's pants.
I placed the lemons on the kitchen island.
"What do you want me to do with all these lemons? Make a lemonade?"
He was too busy toying with Llyr, who was currently cradled in his arms.
"Oh, I assumed you were sick."

Sendoh placed Llyr down and he sat on the couch.
"When I was a kid everytime I got sick or when I don't feel well my mom would get me cold orange slices so that I can eat them." I arched a perfectly curved brow, then he added, "I found no oranges, so I used the lemons as a substitute."
