How is this fair?
It's become to much to bare,
He gets to tell you that he cares,
My love is stronger than theirs.

I've loved you for so long,
Yet somehow it's so wrong,
In my arms you belong,
My grip would be so strong.

I'm afraid to let you go,
Even though you'll never know,
I care more than I can show,
And I tried to take it slow.

He blurted out those words,
It's completely absurd,
He can't mean what was heard,
Now my vision is blurred.

I can't lose you even more,
Though you weren't mine before,
My soul is at war,
And my heart is on the floor.
