Now I know you've found out my feelings,
I'm terrified you'll tell them my dealings,
The things I do,
That at first seemed so harmless,
But now they may appear so charmless.

Instead they may seem more obvious and clear,
To the trained eye you'll keep so near,
Because love is the biggest thing we fear,
Especially when it's so sincere.

Because I do love you,
It's all completely true,
But that doesn't mean I'll admit I do.

I'd prefer to watch and admire from afar,
Love you like the goddess that you are,
But now I've been thrust into the light,
And I will forever put up a fight.

The brightness only burns my skin,
But fades away my light within,
In fear I've known to hide what i feel,
So now I must hide what is or isn't real.
