For years I've sat back and admired you from afar,
I learnt from my mistakes and I won't cause another scar.

See the last time I let out,
How I felt the way I did,
Nobody understood what it was about,
And it was me that they got rid.

So I sit and talk to you,
As if we're newly made friends,
If only you really knew,
That it's already close to ends.

I'm almost fit to burst,
I've kept them locked up for so long,
I loved you first,
Yet someone else will come along.

Because you won't stay single forever,
But I won't ever tell you the truth,
Could you feel the same way? Never,
And the harsh cold is my sooth.
