With that thought he abruptly stopped. Why was he constantly fantasizing all the naughty things he could do with her, when he had a girl like Tameeka who was always willing to bring fantasies into realities. He watched her lap up every attainable piece of skin with her warm tongue, her sensual ritual unmoved by his interruption. His thoughts flickered back to one of the many conditions of their deal: You're only having sex with me—no other girls, he heard in the same annoying, demanding tone she had that day. But what was the problem with just breaking this one rule, he was never the kind to follow rules anyway? And what Naomi doesn't know won't hurt her, damn but then again Tameeka does have a big mouth... he contemplated before noticing that Tameeka was staring up at him.
"What's the matter?" she asked in a mocking pout, which he rolled his eyes to. "C'mon, we're so far ahead, why stop now?" she coaxed, running her fingers and hands over and around his forearms that were on either side of her face.
It was as if she heard his thoughts and gave him a clear answer. She's right, why stop now? he thought as he smiled back at her before bringing his lips back over hers. His hands grew rougher, pushing and kneading for more, just as her breathing came coarser and irregular. He cupped under her back dragging his hand lower until it met the soft, but firm skin of her butt, pulling her hips up to his. They broke their heated kiss long enough to slip on protection over him, ready to penetrate each others' warmth when the phone rang.
"Ugh, Tameeka. I gotta get that." he said, quickly moving off her to stand back to the cool, tiled floor.
"What?! Why?!" she all but shouted, grabbing him by the arm tightly.
"Tameeka, my dad's gone. That could be him." he growled at her, prying her hands from him, the phone still blaring in his ears.
"So? C'mon just this once, just let it go to voicemail just this once." she begged, hopping down from the island counter-top. His body reacted as her chest jiggled from the movement.
"Tameeka!" he exclaimed firmly, glaring into her face.
He watched as she raised both hands in surrender, "Fine. Whatever." she mumbled.
He swiftly sauntered over to the telephone, picking it up before the last ring. "Hello?"
"Darryl? Darryl is that you?" he could hear his father's voice from the other end. He sounded sober, which lifted a huge weight off Darryl's back.
"Yeah, dad it's me." Darryl spoke back, not bothering to hide the smile on his face. He glanced in his peripherals to see Tameeka stroll around the kitchen, lazily, minding her own business.
"How you holdin' up?" his dad asked, sounding quite cheerful. It was almost refreshing just as it was strange to hear his father in an upbeat mood.
"Me? How 'bout you? You sound like your having fun down in...Where are you actually?"
"I'm in Brooklyn. I'm staying at a motel for the night."
"Oh, for the night? So that means, you'll be back tomorrow right?" Darryl asked a little too eagerly than he normally would have.
"Umm, no. Sorry, son. I still have a lot to do over here."
"Well, dad don't forget you have a lot to do over here, too." There was a long pause before his father responded, and he almost feared that he had set something off in his father.
"Have you been going to school, eating well?"
"Yeah, dad I'm fine." he sighed into the phone. He would just have to bear and grin for the time being, "Why don't you tell me why you're in such a good mood?" he asked. Tameeka cleared her throat in the background causing him to glance back in her direction, as she tapped at her wrist, motioning for him to speed it up. He rolled his eyes and refocused on his father's voice.
