The Price.

There is a price for everything in life.
I look at you and I wonder what's yours,
And I realise something;
I pay the price for you.

Whenever I see you with another,
When I see you but I can't talk to you,
When I try to get to you,
And you just shake me off.

When I smile at you,
And you ignore,
When I hug you with such an intensity,
And you barely touch me.

When my words are worth to be responded with huge speeches back,
But you always cut me off.

Whenever I try to get close,
You move away.

Whenever I want to be with you,
You just don't.

What do I have?
Is there something wrong?
What have I done?
What should I do to finally get to your heart?

Isn't enough?
Isn't enough all the pain I've paid?
Isn't enough all the sacrifices I've made?
Isn't enough all the truth I've had to face?

All the tears I've let away,
Isn't enough?
Am I not enough?

I'm sorry but,
You look in someone else
Everything you could have with me.

I'm not better, I'm not worse,
We're all the same.

Sounds selfish,
But, please, don't you see what you have in front?

How long am I going to keep paying?

I'm paying all of this;
Pain, tears, sorrow,
Sadness, upset, overwhelming;

With just loving you.

And you know what?
I don't care,
I'm going to pay whatever it takes
For you to finally notice that the only true and strong love you're looking for,
You have it in here, with me.
