My Light

The night was dark
Not as dark as my thoughts
And my heart was bleeding
I was broken and I was lost

Then you came, a firefly
To ignite my hope again
In darkness, I was drowning
In the light I found a friend

How can I ever repay you?
For you were my anchor
When the tsunami was threatening
