Chapter 2

"I have a brilliant idea!"- Anna said

"Oh no, what now?"- when Anna says she has a good idea, she means a terrible idea

"You remember the cooking project for English class?"

"Yes, but what does that have to do with anything?"

"We'll cook the food at my house so you can see Brian, its perfect since we are supposed to cook food from France, which is the city of love"

I don't know if I should laugh or cry nervously

I couldn't believe her, how does she come up with these things?

"What?" I blurted out

"Yeah, besides, I have the biggest kitchen" - as much as I want her to be wrong, she is right; her kitchen is, in fact, the biggest kitchen I have ever seen

"What about the rest of the team?"

"I'm sure they'll agree. We all secretly ship you and Brian"

Apparently, Mary and Destiny agreed

"I think it's a great idea for us to work on the project in Anna's house" - Destiny said 

"Destiny, I don't know if you are aware that you are not quite helping" I said

"Oh, is it because you like Brian?" - she said like it was the most obvious thing in the world

"Yes, it is!" - I said raising my voice

"You two look cute together, we should pair you up!"

The 3 of them were already planning my wedding by the time the bell rang.

We had History class, I tried my best to pay attention to the I World War but couldn't, my thoughts kept going back to Brian and the project.

"See you tomorrow, and don't forget cooking at my house after school!" -Anna said as she was getting in her car

I was waiting for my mom to come and pick me up when I got a text from Anna

Anna- look at what I got for you

Emma- that's very sweet of you, but kind of creepy

Anna- come on! You are secretly smiling because you loved the picture!

Emma- I won't even bother to lie because you are right, but what's the point of fantasizing about him when he doesn't even know I exist!

Anna- I already told you, he likes you back! Besides, I promised I would help you get him, remember?

Emma- yes, I remember

Anna- And you know better than anyone that I keep my promises

Emma- I know, but you really shouldn't worry too much about this, it's not that big of a deal

Anna- don't worry about me, he is my brother, I will get him to admit he likes you

Emma- thank you Anna, for always being there for me

Anna- you have nothing to thank me for, you would do exactly the same for me

Emma- well I got to go, my mom is here, text you later, bye

Anna- bye! Love you

Emma- love you too
