Japan's pasta lovers may soon slurp spaghetti on the cheap disposable plates that Nancy and Sluggo will be giving to everyone who attends their upcoming "Tiptoe in Tokyo" performance on their Japanese Tour.
It's to promote the fad of pastiendas (shops that sell and serve
pasta) that is sweeping Asia. Members of the Japanese Liberal
Democratic Party of Hoppers, Skippers and Jumpers, are extremely wary of opening the market, as it will compete with their own "Extreme Ice Cream Shop" franchises, which specialize in the recent trend of varieties of ice cream soup.
