The symbol of power
Every witch, every wiccan posses a symbol of power. This symbol lets you concentrate your power and open your mind to wicca, what ever you are doing, wherever you are. To find your own symbol of power, you have to do a simple meditation. I will copy the link here.

Your name and your witch name
Two things really different, believe me. You posses a name that everyone knows , but in a spell you will have to use your witch name. It has to be a name in english that you will have to translate in gaelic. By example, my name is Talamh (it means earth) and my boyfriend's name is Grádh (wich means love). Here is a list of suggestions for the ones who don't talk this language. You can still use "Google traduction" to find yourself a name of your own.

Muírn beatha dàn
The muírn beatha dàn is the wiccan form of the soul sister. Every witch by blood has a muírn beatha dàn who is a witch by blood too.
When you separate two muírn beatha dàn, their hearts bleed. Litteraly, there is blood pouring down their chest.
The 13 rules of Wicca
The wiccans respect rules, there is 13 of them.
1. We practice rituals to understand the natural rythme of the vital forces.
2. We know that our intelligence give us an important responsibility about our environment.
3. We know that every person have a power more powerful than what they let you see.
4. We consider the source of creation as feminine and masculine. No gender is superior to the other.
5. We know the world as it outside and inside or psychologic and we see the interactions of these two dimensions in the paranormal or in magick.
6. We don't respect any autority hierarchy.
7. We see the religion, magick and wisdom united in our vision of the world and our way to live.
8. The fact to pretend yourself a witch, doesn't make you a witch. Same thing for heredity, titles or initiations . A witch is trying to control the forces present in herself or himself that makes life possible to try to live a life of wisdom and in harmony with nature, without causing any trouble.
9. We believe in the accomplishment of life and in the development of the consciousness that lights up the sense of the universe and of our personnal role in it.
10. Our only animosity about the christianity or any other religion or philosophy is the fact that they proclame themself as the only correct way and they tried to eradicate every other belief and religion.
11. We do not feel threatened by debates or the legitimacy of some of our traditions. We are concerned primarily with our present and our future.
12. We do not accept the concept of absolute evil, any more than we venerate "Satan" or the "Devil".
13. We work with nature because it contributes to our health and well-being.
On the other hand, the main rule of wicca is "Do what you want, as long as it does no harm."
