"He's being such a...such a..."

"Asshole?" Sehun piped in as she feverishly nodded in return.

"Yeah, that!" Seulgi sighed as she downed another shot of beer. Her cheeks were tomato red; she never did handle alcohol very well. Sehun just shook his head at his best friend as he leaned against the bar counter next to the red-faced girl.

"You know, he probably didn't mean it," Sehun added as she faced him with a scowl on her face.

"Don't take his side!"

"Oh, come on, Seul. Couples fight all the time," he reassured her. Sehun had been very surprised when Seulgi called him an hour before midnight to drink with her. She was never the type to go out to a bar (or swear; she was just so pure sometimes).

"Yeah, but Jongin and I aren't that kind of couple," her fingers were tracing the rim of the shot glass. Her eyes cast a faraway look, and Sehun just wanted to stick Seulgi and Jongin in a room until they worked it out. That's the thing about the Seulgi-Jongin couple. They were both dense and clueless sometimes.

"Okay, what did you guys fight about anyway?"

"Well, it started when his parents came over. His mom just started talking bad about the things I did, and he didn't even defend me! He just sat there like a log while I had to brace all her criticism by myself. After they left, he even agreed with his mom on some of the things she said," Seulgi let some tears slip off her face which she quickly wiped off. Sehun comforted her by patting on her back lightly.

"You guys just need to kiss and make up. It'll be alright. It's not something to be worth fighting for," Sehun offered some of his wise advice. She looked at him with the facial expression of a puppy after waking up.

"KIss and make up? How do I do that?" Seulgi sniffled as she finished the rest of the shot of beer.

"I don't know...what could make Jongin stop being angry at you?" Sehun asked, trying to make her brainstorm some ideas.

"Um...playing with Monggu, cuddling, and-- I know!" Seulgi suddenly shot up, a grin forming on her face as she hopped off the stool. Because of the alcohol in her system, she stumbled a bit before standing straight with the help of Sehun who grasped her arm before she could fall.

"What now?" Sehun raised an eyebrow, carefully guiding the small girl out of the bar. She looked so excited to carry out her plan.

"Take me home."

Jongin was beyond distressed with the situation. He didn't mean to hurt Seulgi, but it was his mom, for God's sake, and how could he stand up to the woman who gave birth to him? Still, he understood why Seulgi was so upset with him. He was mad at himself, too.

Jongin reached over for his phone and dialed her number. Her phone rang in the bedroom, and he sighed. Typical Seulgi. She always forgot to bring her phone whenever she went out. But it was past midnight, and Jongin started to feel worried about her.

Grabbing Seulgi's phone off the nightstand, he swiped it open and saw that the last person she called was Sehun. He decided to push away the jealousy that was starting to arise and pressed on the call button. Sehun picked up after three rings.

"Hello?"

"Is Seulgi with you?"

"Yeah, we're coming back to your place right now."

Oh. So she had been with him the entire time.

"Okay, thanks for taking care of her," Jongin tried to say in the most earnest way possible, but inside, he was hurt. Seulgi had found a new person to cheer her up, and it wasn't him.

"See you later." And that was it. The end of the conversation, and Jongin wasn't even able to hear Seulgi's voice once.

It wasn't before long when Sehun pulled up in the apartment complex parking lot and dropped off Seulgi, who said goodbye in the most sappiest way. She managed to become a little more sober after her quick rest in the car ride. Gathering up her courage, she entered Jongin's apartment with the key he had given her, and flung her jacket on the couch. Jongin had emerged from his bedroom where he had been waiting for her.

With a swift tug, Seulgi grabbed the collar of Jongin's shirt and on her tip-toes, kissed him fully on the lips. He stumbled back, causing Seulgi to land against him, his back on the wall. He wasn't quite sure what had gone over her, but he could feel all their tense feelings melt away. His arms wrapped around her lower back as their lips danced in sync with each other's. Seulgi's fingers lightly tugged on the ends of his hair, grabbing his face closer to hers. She reluctantly separated to catch her breath. Their pants grew heavy, and they rested their foreheads against each other.

"Why?" Jongin finally asked, still holding her close to him. Their chests moved up and down simultaneously as their eyes never left each other.

"Someone wise told me to kiss and make up. So I did," Seulgi leaned in for a short kiss, Jongin chuckling after she did so.

"But if this is the outcome after a fight, I might want us to fight more often," Jongin wiggled his eyebrows while his girlfriend slapped his arm playfully.

"We need to work out our problems if we want this relationship to last," Seulgi said solemnly as she gripped onto his arms.

"Of course," Jongin nodded in agreement, "but since we're at it, I'm still feeling a little mad at you."

Seulgi rolled her eyes as Jongin carried her to his bedroom for more of their "kiss and make up" session.
