Angelica glanced over at him. He was tall, handsome, had dark, almost black hair, with dark eyes. Every girl's dream.
But those eyes.
They weren't the light blue she was used to look at her.
Like that.
But she sort of liked it, a little bit. I mean, here was this single, hot guy that was into her. And he wasn't her sister's serious boyfriend and her nephew's father.
But that's exactly why she didn't like him.
His sharp and emotionless voice asked her, "Are you okay?" He sounded like he didn't care. He probably didn't.
Angelica looked at her feet, swept a stray curl behind her ear, and said, "Yep. Yeah. I'm fine."
He gave her a small, perfect smile before continuing to eat his food.
This isn't what Alex would do.
