[salutations! -frisk]

it was already mid-day when we got there, but we drove all the way to town and tyler got what jenna asked for, which didn't take that long. but he didn't come back with only guns and knives, he brought back some alcohol too.

when he started the ignition, i couldn't help but let my curiosity run wild. so i decided to ask,
"why the alcohol?" i wondered, tyler cracked a smile as he pulled out of his parking spot and back onto the main road.

"bren wanted whiskey for the... circle tonight." he answered, there was some uncertainty in his voice, "i forgot you're new." he remembered.

"what's the circle?"

"well before some big mission," he started, "the night before it, we all sit around in a circle and just enjoy not being dead with the people we care about." he had a very casual way of explaining that.

"so the attack we planned on raz is considered a big mission?" i wanted clarification, tyler nodded in response,

"it's not gonna be easy. we only have one medic now and if she dies..." tyler trailed off, i assumed he was trying to imagine the worst-case scenario. after the short moment of silence, he finished off my saying,

"it's game over from there."

i understood what he meant, but it sounded like he didn't have a lot of hope. raz is only one guy, and we have a team of six. aren't we supposed to have the upper hand?

"d'ya think we can win?" i asked tyler, genuinely thinking he was gonna be confident in his friends, but all he did was let out a sigh,

"i don't know..." he went silent for a few seconds again, "he may be the scum of the web, but the guy's smart. he knows what he's doing and he knows just how to kill you..." tyler got lost in thought, but he just scoffed,

"this is all just a game to him."

he was right. but knowing that it all started with me gave me sick feeling in my stomach, and a knot tied in my throat whenever i wanted to mention that. i sometimes wonder if the group even remembers that i'm the one to blame. i'm the one sending them out on that death mission.

i'm the one who's gonna get everyone killed.

"s-so," i wanted to change the topic slightly, "who is the medic in the group?" i wondered. tyler continued to look ahead at the road in front of him while driving, but he still responded with,

"jenna."

i nodded in response, already suspecting it might have been her, "what'd she used to work as in the deep web?" i curiously asked him.

his face fell a bit and so did his tone, "it wasn't really a job but..." he sighed yet again, "she used to run those suicide chat rooms."

"oh," the mood of the conversation changed dramatically, "so she tried helping people who wanted to commit suicide?" tyler nodded.

"she did save a lot of people," he clarified, "but she eventually stopped going on the deep web since she was busy with school and work..."

"so then what happened?"

his voice now had a hint of anger in it, "when she went back on it, turns out the chat rooms were under new management... razs management," tyler shook his head and i noticed he gripped the steering wheel harder as his knuckles were turning white,

"but he wasn't helping people like jenna was... he was convincing people to kill themselves." my heart dropped into the pit of my stomach and my blood ran cold.

tyler looked over towards me only to see my clear shock and distraught nature from what he had just told me, but shortly after he turned his attention back towards the road and sighed something that could have been seen as encouragement or just a sorry attempt at motivation,

"let's just hope we can end him tomorrow night."

[okay so hi it me again and i just wanted to say how cool it was that you guys theorize who raz is like i never expected people to really think about the lil hints i life and aHhHh it just blows my mind so thank you again -frisk]
