Pharoah draped his arm across Elisa's shoulders.
"And you said you wanted to hang out with me after school, babygirl?"
Nadir sighed softly and trailed behind the two. She was third wheeling already.
"We go to the same house everyday" Elisa stated.
"Yeah, but shit, let's go to my house. Or yours" He suggested
"I'll think about it, Ph-"
"So ya done thinking?" He cut her off.
"Nigga!" Chance said as soon as they walked into the gym.
Pharoah walked away from Elisa, and she slowed down to walk with Nadir.
"To hang or not to hang. That is the question" Elisa stated.
Not to. Nadir thought, watching her brother and Pharoah play basketball.
She didn't understand how they could go through the rest of the school day without a shower. They were sweaty as hell.
"Tell your sister to tell Elisa to go out with me" Pharoah chucked the ball to a teammate and walked off the court.
"Why you suddenly want her so damn bad? Nigga, stop and take a breath" Chance stated.
"I'm tryna fuck. So go"
Chancelor sucked his teeth before walking over to his sister. "Aye, sis"
Nadir got up, and met her brother at the bottom of the bleachers. "What?"
"You so rude, damn. Do me a favor, and convince loose pussy Lisa to go fuck with my boy. He swear that he in love with her"
"Nadir sighed. "You do know that Elisa's my only friend right, why would I give her up?"
"Yo selfish ass. This is why people can't have nice things"
Pharoah walked up the bleachers to where Elisa was because Chance was taking too long.
"Damn, Elisa. I ain't seen you in a minute. Can I get a hug or some shit?"
"After you got all sweaty?" She raised an eyebrow. "And you just saw me"
"I barely even played" Ro pulled her up by her arm, and wrapped his arms around her.
"Okaaay. Damn." She tried to pull away.
"I'm being dead ass though. Let me take you out or some shit. Chance and his sister could use some bonding time. Also, I'm not letting you go until you say yes, babygirl. And people peepin' us like some peeps. Don't that got a nice ring to it? Us."
Elisa could feel her whole body heating up. Probably from being so close to a guy.
"Okay, Pharoah"
Nadir walked back up to the bleachers, already know that she was going to be disappointed.
Not that she was puting up any effort anyways.
Nadir couldn't even work up the courage to talk to the boy.
