Jimin was at work with Hoseok, both of them being co dance instructors. He loved his job, but not just as much as being able to come home to his fiancée every day. If there was one thing he looked forward to more than dancing, it was Jungkook's presence.
The practice was just coming to an end, and Jimin was going back to grab his bag and change from his dance clothes, when he heard his phone ringing from his jacket pocket.
Jimin fished through the pocket and took it out, smiling at the caller ID that showed and answering immediately.
"Jungkookie~" Jimin cooed happily, a happy smile spreading wide across his face. He sat on the bench by his bag.
"Hey, Jiminie," He heard Jungkook laugh a little bit on the other end of the line. There was silence for a moment before he spoke up again. "how was work?"
"Ahhh it was fantastic, Hobi and I are working on some new choreography that I think you'll really like," Jimin said, looking up at the ceiling and picturing Jungkook smiling at this. "I cant wait to see you at home though. We should watch a movie."
"Yeah. We should." There was a soft cough at the other end, and it was silent for another few moments. "Hey Jimin?"
"MmHmm?" He hummed happily.
"What do you want for dinner?" Jungkook asked softly, as if he were a little tired. He probably just had a long day at work.
"I dunno, maybe we should just order something simple like pizza. " Jimin laughed again, and Jungkook did so quietly as well.
"Okay. Sounds good to me..." Jungkook trailed off a little on the other line. "I don't wanna go."
Jimin rolled his eyes a little. "It's okay, we'll see eachother at home really soon anyways. "
Again, Jungkook didn't say anything for awhile. "Yeah... Yeah. I'll see you then," He paused, and almost seemed to sniffle a little bit, but Jimin wasn't entirely sure of it. "Remember I love you more than anything, okay? You're beautiful to me."
Jimins heart fluttered, unable to keep his smile from his face. "I love you too Kookie. Get home safe."
"I love you..." Jungkook said one last time, before the call ended.
Jimin sighed a little to himself and put his phone back in his jacket pocket. What did he do to deserve such an amazing fiancée?
Jimin grabbed his clothes and went to change, excited to get home and see his Jungkookie.
•••
He came out of the changing and went back out through the front room to exit the dance studio, and was just pushing the front door open when he heard Hoseok screaming for him.
"JIMIN," And from the sound of it, something was very wrong.
Jimin released the front door and went back from where he came to where Hoseok was, thoroughly surprised to see him with his phone in his hand and sobbing on the floor.
Jimin dropped his bag and Jacket instantly to rush to Hoseoks side, dropping to his knees right beside him, eyes wide as he tried to understand the incoherent words the older was trying to say between cries.
"H-He's... he's gone..."
•••
Jungkook was on his way home a little earlier than usual. He would beat Jimin home, and Jungkook wanted to do something special for him, for their anniversary, even though it technically wasn't for another two months.
