Jealousy
{Grant x Reader}

"Y/N?" I shifted my position, looking over at Grant, who now stood behind the couch. I hadn't heard him come in, and I had sort of let myself into the house without asking while he was out. Grant just had the best movie collection, meaning, he owned practically every movie. And being his best friend, I had every right to that collection. I was currently snuggled up on his couch under one of his blankets, Jett and Nora passed out and snoring on one side of me.

"Who else would be sitting on your couch watching The Maze Runner?" I questioned, looking up at him teasingly.

He smiled, rolling his eyes. Then without warning, he jumped over the back of the couch, plopping down right next to me. "Next time at least tell me you're going to break in," he sighed, yanking at the soft blanket that was covering me.

"Hey," I pouted, "I had that first!"

"Did you forget it's my house?" He laughed, snuggling up with the blanket.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine. Whatever."

I moved myself sharply, falling into Grant's side. He sighed and chuckled, but still pulled the blanket over me, sharing the warmth. He draped an arm casually around me, and my heartbeat responded to his proximity by quickening. I wondered if he could feel it, ready to pounce right out of my chest.

Why, oh why, did my best friend have to be so hot, talented, and smell so good?

"So, The Maze Runner again?" Grant frowned slightly, looking at the screen in front of us. "Why do you always watch this?"

I smiled to myself, observing the handsome face of Dylan O'Brien staring back at us.

"Um, hello," I grinned, "Do you not see how hot Dylan O'Brien is?"

Grant huffed loudly, and out of the corner of my eye, I could see him shaking his head. "Really?" He asked, his voice annoyed and narrowing his eyebrows at the television, "What's so great about Dylan O'Brien?" I knew Grant didn't mind the movie, but for some reason he was kind of a jerk when it came to me ranting about my celebrity crushes. Maybe it was because he is a celebrity. Whatever the reason, it bothered me.

"He's hot," I responded flatly. "And he seems like a great guy, you know. Dani said he's the absolute sweetest."

I looked to him, to see his eyes narrowed at the screen. "Dani knows him?"

"Sort of." I laughed quietly. "Do you think she would set me up?" I wiggled my eyebrows at Grant jokingly. In all honesty, I didn't really care if Danielle could set us up or not - Dylan was just a celebrity crush. Grant, my best friend, on the other hand, was a living, breathing crush, cuddled up with me in this very moment.
