The girl's insecurities had gotten the best of her. She rambled and ranted about the way she looked, avoiding eye contact out of embarrassment. You stop her word vomit by taking a hold of her hands, firmly, but gently, gripping them to get her attention. Her eyes travel up to yours and you give her a smile, reassuring her that she was the prettiest girl you'd ever seen. The corner of her lips tilt upwards and she can't help the flutter of her heart when you say things like that, looking to the ground while fighting the blush that threatened to creep upon her cheeks.
