IMAGINE: Jonathan when you stick up for him.
You'd seen from a distance your brother Steve and his group of friends taunting Jonathan. You'd spoken to the Byers boy a few times, and you'd decided he was nice. Extremely shy and timid, but friendly nonetheless. With an irritated sigh, you stalk over to your older brother. Once you reach him, you catch the hand that was about to push Jonathan backwards, holding it tightly in your grip. They all look at you in shock and you take the moment of silence to speak up, demanding that they leave the Byers boy alone. Jonathan glances over at you, watching as you pick up his things from the ground and give them back to him with a small smile.
"Thanks for that."
