You lived alone. Any family or friends you had before the end of the world were dead, ripped away from you at the hands of the mindless infected or the blood thirsty savages that called themselves "survivors". But then there was Carl. Perhaps the only person in Alexandria that truly understood you, understood what you'd been through and the things you had to do in order to stay alive. Maybe that was why you didn't hesitate to let him in when he came knocking at your door, why you didn't stop him from penetrating your 50 foot high walls that were built around your ice cold heart. You watch as he looks around the house you lived in, but was never really your home; maybe you'd find that in him.
