Two Paths (Sequel to Why Me)

He will come back

(Sasuke's POV)

I was running towards where Naruto was suppose to be but I saw someone move out of the corner of my eye. When I looked over I saw.............Itachi. Memories of him flashed before my eyes................why.......why is he here? He's suppose to be dead. I stopped and looked up at him...........it really was him. Quickly I ran after him.

"Wait!" I called. "You are Itachi right?!"

He didn't stop or even look back. Why isn't he paying attention to me?!

"I said wait....are you listening to me?!"

Activating Susano'o I sent it towards Itachi to stop him but he countered it with his own. He has to be Itachi.

"This Susano'o....so.....you are Itachi after all!"

"Incredible you also became able to use this technique..." He said.

"Why are you here?! You should be dead!"

"This is Kabuto's technique....I'm here because of the Edo tensei. I cannot stop now....I have important things to do."

Once again he has no time for me.

"I don't care about that! Now you are in front of my eyes...there is a mountain of things I want to ask you!"

"Even if I tell you...To leave it for later, you would not listen to me, huh...."

"Do you remember what you said to me?! "When you have the same eyes with me, come to me!"So why are you running away!? Do you feel guilty because you lied to me?! Or you don't have the courage to tell me the truth?! I already know everything about you! That's why I decided to destroy Konoha!"

"I already told this to you when we fought.....People live inside their convictions....If you think in that way...If your truth is just an illusion..then the truth about me in reality is..."

"I'm not into an illusion anymore! I can see through your genjutsu! Because these are your eyes!"

"Your confidence when you talk did not change but....they told me about what you did until now..you quire changed."

"That's wrong! You were the one who changed everything about me. I should have died! You were supposed to kill me and my parents together! And yet....Why was I the only one!? Why was I the only one to survive? Why only me! Why I'm different from our father and mother? Why just me...."

"You didn't know anything about what was happening at that time....You did not know anything about the Uchiha clan's foolish idea.....you were just a kid, plus it wasn't for your sake alone....I also thought that one day I should be judged for the crimes I committed by an Uchiha like you.

For that sake I used the hatred within you...and that's why I failed.. The only thing I did was, giving the hatred to you and making you flee from the village...I turned you into a criminal...I wished that you would walk the right path and yet...from the moment I died..you are walking the wrong path...you were enticed into a straight path without branching roads. I wanted to rewrite the indication on you path with my lied and efforts."

"You wanted me to walk on that path while I was ignorant about the truth?! I don't wish to walk on a such path!"

"Yeah just as you said...You have to decide the path you want to walk."

"No matter you rewrite the indications on that path I can see through those changes already!"

He then laughed.

"What's so funny?!"

"....Nothing.....Not just indications guide you on the path you walk.....I'm someone dead after all....I will not talk from on."

"When you were alive you always poked my forehead. You could not look after me and then you ran away are you going to run away now? You are dead as well!?"

"It's not like I'm running away I told you that there are important things that I have to do."

He continued to run from me and shot his crows at me trying to slow me down.

"You stay here." Itachi ordered.

He then broke a wall revealing Kabuto.

"You passed through m Kekkai...seems you know quite well about it." Kabuto said.

"During the period I was controlled by you I felt clearly the source where your chakra came from. This can also be considered as a risk of jutsu......though no need to keep in mind now."

"What a lesson...no one can remove this jutsu, so I never worried about that. By the way...I hope you can keep something in your mind. The jutsu of edo tensei wouldn't stop even if I got killed...But, only I can stop this jutsu."

He then started to laugh.

"So my luck has finally turned!"

"It turns out to be much worse than I expected." Itachi sighed.

(Third person POV)

As the others fought off the tailed beasts defeating almost all of them so far Ino fully healed Tadashi who was now regaining consciousness. With a groan he slowly sat up.

"What happened?" He groaned.

"You were stabbed while protecting Mariah." Ino answered.

"Where is she?"

"Over there fighting Madara."

Tadashi's eyes widened as he saw a terrifying Mariah who now has eight tails.

"Mariah," He said in barely a whispered voice.

Of course with her sensitive ears Mariah heard him easily. After she sent a kick to Madara she turned her attention to Tadashi causing him to freeze.

"M-Mariah....I'm alright now.....I'm all healed."

Her inhuman eyes studied Tadashi not knowing if he was friend or foe.....but something clicked in her head....making her remember what made her like this in the first place. Focusing just on Tadashi she started to calm down managing to go down a few tails.

"Tadashi.....you're alright." She breathed.

She then started to return to normal as she saw that Tadashi was perfectly fine. She smiled at him while he smiled back but then his face turned into a concerned one.

"Mariah...........your skin............"

She looked down to examine her skin and it was all red......it had been peeled off. She then felt a presence behind her. Dodging a kick from Madara she landed next to Tadashi.

"Hm so you finally calmed down huh? Still your guard is never down.....I wonder how you will react once Sasuke gets here and kills all of you."

That struck a nerve.

"Sasuke will help us kill you Madara............and return to Konoha with us." Mariah shouted in an aggravated tone.

"Keep telling yourself that,"

"He will come to his senses and come back.......I just know it...."

"She's right.......he will come back." Naruto agreed.

"Heh....false hope....You leaf ninja are all the same." Madara scoffed.

"Just you watch he will come back!"

So what do you think of it? I'm bad at fighting scenes so i kinda skipped over it but don't worry there will be some action when they all fight Madara ^^
