Karli’s POV
I reached our building in under 5 minutes, I was running so fast. I slowed down when I reached the door and caught my breath before I went inside. It seemed like forever by the time I got to our floor. When I reached Jason’s door, I knocked. “Jason?”
No one answered. I looked at the door puzzled. Why isn’t he answering? Then I saw that the door was cracked open just slightly. I opened the door and peered in. Jason was sitting on a stool in the middle of the room. As soon as I saw him, he started playing the guitar in his lap. It was a beautiful tune. Jason looked up and started to sing.
