Lena was currently being interviewed by the fifteenth reporter that day, and she was beginning to lose her cool. Since 7 am, she had been asked the same question over and over again: "What got into Supergirl and Superman last night, and what did your mother have to do with this?"

In the background, the piercing vibration of construction tools echoed through her office, impairing her hearing. She clenched her jaw, cracking her neck and rubbing it to relieve the tension. She let out a deep breath.

"Like I said, my mother planted the red kryptonite here to affect both Superman and Supergirl--". The drills jostled the building. Lena raised her voice. "I had absolutely nothing to do with this and--if you have any further ques--go to the prison where that wretch of my mother is--"

The reporter in front of her opened his mouth to speak, but Lena stood up, slamming a hand on her desk while pointing the man out with the other. He protested, but she raised a brow and glared at him, and he hurriedly began to leave.

"And tell the others outside, no more interviews today. Period."

The man nodded, and once the door slammed shut, she collapsed into her chair, rubbing her temples. She needed a break. And an Advil. Maybe a coffee too--no, some booze would be wonderful right now.

Through the loud noise, the CEO heard the muted sound of someone knocking on the door, causing her to groan loudly. The door squeaked open, and she stubbornly turned her chair away.

"I said, no more interviews," she hissed.

The person didn't respond but instead, Lena heard short, quick footsteps approaching her. She was about to get up and protest when she spun the chair around, facing Kara. A huge, beaming smile crossed her face, causing Lena to do the same.

"One more interview? Not even for your favorite reporter?" she teased.

Kara set a bag down on the desk, then plopped down on Lena's lap, cradling her face in her strong hands. She smothered Lena in kisses, the CEO releasing a fit of laughter. She teasingly shooed her away until Kara kissed her lips, which she leaned into.

Kara then pulled away, gazing into Lena's eyes. The blonde pecked her cheek, standing up and grabbing the bag to give to Lena.

"What's this?" she asked, peering at its contents.

Kara fidgeted with her glasses, smirking at the ground. "I knew you'd need a little snack for your busy day..."

Lena stood up, pulling an object out. "So you got me six donuts? Love--"

Kara chuckled, snatching the glazed donut from Lena's hands. "Well, I figured I would eat most of them, you know, since I'm always hungry."

Lena shook her head, selecting another donut and tearing a piece off. She ate it, glaring into Kara's eyes. She seductively sucked the sugar from her fingers, causing Kara to bite her lip and shyly look away. Lena approached her, planting a sugary kiss on her lips. The blonde licked her own, smiling at Lena.

"Wanna go take a walk in the park?" she asked, holding her hand out to Lena, who eagerly took it.

The fresh air and the cool breeze felt wonderful on Lena's pale skin, and in the wind, she picked up the sweet scent of Kara's perfume. The two walked in the park, discussing both Lena's and Kara's hectic days. While the CEO was getting berated with hundreds of questions, Kara was putting out fires, stopping robberies, and also helping her sister tackle alien issues back at the DEO. They sat down on a nearby bench, Kara rubbing Lena's hand with her thumb while glancing towards the sky.
