A week had passed and surprisingly Vanessa became good friends with Tod. sense Damon didn't have many people on that mansion Tod was there to keep her company and they were constantly playing with Matt, but things were going to change soon because Damon was going to move more people into the house to protect Matt.
Vanessa was currently sitting on the counter waiting for Tod to finish cooking, the man surely knew his way around the kitchen "You start training today" said Tod and and Vanessa smiled "Yah in so exited!" She said and Tod looked at her with puppy eyes "But this means I'm not gonna be your guard anymore" he said pouting
Vanessa laughed and said "But we will still be friends" Tod nodded and went back to cooking, After eating Tod's amazing food, Vanessa decided it was time to train, she went to her room, and changed into some workout clothes.
Vanessa than made her way down to the training room where Damon awaited. As soon as She walked in th room Damon tackled her to the ground and pinned her wrists above her head "Lesson number one, expect the unexpected" said Damon, Vanessa huffed and looked at him with a Are-you-serious kind of look.
Damon than let her go and he began teaching her the basics, but sense Vanessa alredy knew the basics she didnt really try to learn anything, Damon told her to take a water break and as soon as she turned around he threw a punch at her, but before it could acctually hit her she grabbed his hand twisted him over her back and threw him on the ground
Vanessas eyes widened, she was so stupid, she sould of let him hit her, "Vanessa where did you learn that?" asked damon as he got up from the floor "L-learned what?" she asked hopping Damon wount ask anymore questions, but it didnt go as she wished, "Vanessa, I am not stupid, where did you learn that" she sighted, she had to come up with something so she said the first thing that came into her mind "My dad was a selfdefence teacher" she said and Damon eyed her carefully "Ok than show me what you've got" Said Damon getting into a fighting stance
I than got into I fighting stance and started to circle him, he attacked first aiming a punch towards her stomach but Vanessa dodged it and flipped him making him hit the ground, Vanessa than jumped on top of him and punched his face, she got a couple of punches in before he flipped her over and pinned her hands above her head, they were both panting hard
They looked each other in the eye and Damon began to come closer his lips slightly brushed hers, finally he pressed his lips against her soft ones, the movement was slow and passionate, when they finally came apart they looked into each others eyes, Damon got up from on top of her and gave her a hand, once they were both standing Damon said "Meet me at the gardens tonight?" Vanessa looked at him gave him a small smile and nodded.
