VAL POV

I was sitting on the couch waiting for Sharna to finish doing Laurie's makeup.

"You ready?" Sharna asked me.

"Yep."

Laurie walked out, and I didn't see the cute girl from rehearsals, I saw a beautiful young woman. I was so proud of what she had accomplished. I am so proud to be her big brother.

"You look amazing," I said standing up and giving her a twirl.

"Thank you for all of this Val," she said hugging me.

"Anything for you kid."

"We should probably get going." Laurie laughed.
