Staring Contest
You were at the library reading another Harry Potter book which you had already read a hundred times.
"The librarian's out!" you heard someone scream.
The whole library started to get noisy causing you to loose your focus on what you were reading.
"Keep it down will ya?!" you yelled which made everyone shut up and look at you.
"How about we play a game!" a boy which you pressumed was Jimin yelled and the other students agreed.
"Good idea hyung!" Jungkook agreed, "What game?"
"How about..." Hoseok trailed off while tapping his chin with his finger.
"A staring contest!" Namjoon and Seokjin said in sync and the whole library agreed.
You just groaned and tried to turn your attention to the book. But you just can't.
"If I beat you guys, will you shut up??" you yelled making them look at you.
"Y/N is up for the challenge!" Yoongi screamed and so did the other students.
"Alright then!" Hoseok said, "If you win, we'll keep quiet. But if you loose... you'll do our homework for a month!"
You shrugged, "Sure. Whatever,"
"Omo," Naeun suddenly whispered to your ear, "Are you sure you're up for this Y/N? You don't know who you'll face,"
"And who is that?" you asked raising a brow at her.
"Y/N vs. Taehyung!" Yoongi blurted out.
"That," Naeun said, "Taehyung's unbeatable when it comes to staring contests. No one even lasts a minute staring into his beautiful eyes," Naeun continued while starting to fangirl over Taehyung.
"Sure. Sure," you said, "Whatever,"
She sighed. You heard a slam on the table you were sitting by and you closed your book and placed it on the table. You looked at the boy in front of you, blankly.
His hair was brown. He had a face like an idol. His lips were definitely kissable. And like Naeun said, his eyes were mezmerizing.
"Hello Y/N," he said before smirking.
"Hello Taehyung," you said plainly.
"Ready to loose?" he had a smug face on.
You rolled your eyes. "Let's just get this over with,"
"Hana, dul..." Hoseok paused, "Set!"
You stared at Taehyung and he stared back. You looked deeply into his beautiful eyes and you were astonished but that wasn't enough for you to loose the game.
"It lasted a minute and 30 seconds!" Seokjin said getting a 'woah' from the other students, "Y/N's doing great!"
You could see Taehyung getting tensed up making you smile. Smirk in exact.

"He blinked!" Namjoon pointed out, "Taehyung blinked!"
"Damn it!" Taehyung cursed out before averting his gaze making you laugh in victory.
"5 minutes and 55 seconds!" Seokjin said making the others look at you in disbelief.
You smirked. "Now, let me read in peace,"
"Wait," Taehyung suddenly said causing you to look at the boy who was still sitting in front of you.
"What?" you raised a brow at him.
"Hyung!" Jungkook said, "Are you going to confess now?"
Taehyung froze before glaring at Jungkook. "Seriously. I'm gonna kill you," he muttered at Jungkook but audible.
You were confused. Who is he going to confess to?
"Really Taehyung?" Hoseok asked before patting the boy's back, "Go for it,"
"Hyung! She's listeni-"
"Go for it bro!" Jimin also patted his back, "You've been practicing this! Fighting!"
That was when it hit you. You smiled smugly and stood up before sitting beside Taehyung causing the other students to giggle and for him to look at you and blush.
"What's the commotion about Kim Taehyung?" you asked blindly, "And what's this 'confession' they're talking about?" you air-quoted.
"Uhm..." he trailed off, trying to look away, "I-I... I-I..."
You bit your lip to contain your smile. "You what? Cutie?"
He froze and blushed. You also realized what you said and covered your own mouth and cursed mentally while the others squealed.
"He likes you Y/N," Yoongi said, taking the words out from Taehyung's mouth. Taehyung glared at him and Yoongi shrugged making him sigh and look back at you.
"Y-You like me?" you stuttered and he shyly nodded.
"She likes you too you know!" Naeun blurted out making you glare at her before blushing.
"Y-You do??" Taehyung asked. Hope filled his face.
You giggled. "Yeah," you said before rubbing the back of your neck.
"Yes!" Taehyung muttered but loud enough for you to hear. You giggled and he blushed. "Y-You..." he trailed off before clearing his throat, "Y-You have beautiful eyes Y/N,"
You blushed before smiling. "Is that the reason why I won?"
He chuckled and planted a kiss on your cheek making you freeze and causing the crowd to squeal. "Yeah. I guess so," Taehyung replied before smiling.
"Silence in the library please!" the librarian suddenly screamed out and the other students came running back to their seats.
Taehyung stayed by your side and locked his fingers with yours before smiling. "Moment's over," he said before chuckling.
"Don't worry," you said before smiling back, "It's not the last moment we'll have,"
