He grabbed his own and Steph strapped it on.

"Hop on." Mark said, getting on.

Steph sat down behind him and they were off. Steph held on a little tighter than expected. She found herself resting her head on his back. She felt happy, and she was somewhat upset when the ride was over.

"Is this the place?" Mark asked.

"Yes. Good thing we don't need reservations. This place is high class." Steph said.
"How high class are we talking?" Mark asked.

"Working bathrooms, air conditioning and good food." Steph smiled.

Mark chuckled and Steph smile widened.

"Seems really upper crust." he chuckled.

"It is. Welcome to "Lady's Cafe"!" Steph announced.

They walked inside and the owner greeted them herself.

"Hello, Stephanie! Date night, eh?" Lady asked.

"Date night?! No. Just dinner with a acquaintance." Steph replied.

"Sure, hon, whatever you say." Lady drawled. "Follow me."

They followed Lady into an empty dining room. Steph asked why she'd brought them there, and Lady just said so they could talk privately.

As if, good grief, even Lady's trying to hook us up! Steph thought.

They placed an order for sodas and Lady left. (Leaving menus for them.)

"This is a nice place. How long has it been in business?" Mark asked.

"I think Lady said since she was 15, and she's 23 now so roughly eight years."

Mark whistled. "And she seems to be doing well."

"Yes she is."

Lady returned and they put in their order and got their drinks.

"Have you ever dated a wrestler before?" Mark asked.

"No, and Dad doesn't want me dating a "normal person", he wants me dating someone who has old money. I don't really want that. If I married anyone-including a wrestler-I'd want it to be for love. Not just for money." Steph said.

"Your Dad can't tell you what to do. You're an adult." Mark answered.

Steph's eyes widened. He was right.

"You're right. It's a free country, isn't it?" Steph asked.

"Last time I checked, yup." Mark replied.

Lady came back just then. "One pizza. See you in a half hour, kids." Lady said.

"Thanks, Lady!" Steph called after her.

Without meaning too, Steph and Mark stayed out too late. It was past 9:00 when they finally pulled up at Anna's.

"Thanks for the bike ride, Mark. I enjoyed it." Steph said.

"Don't mention it. I suppose we'll do this again?" Mark asked.

"Sure, I'd enjoy it!" Steph replied.

"Then we'll arrange dates later. See you, Miss McMahon." Mark said.

"Goodbye, Mr. Callaway." Steph replied.

Anna opened the door and chewed Steph out and Steph barely heard her. She was pink faced and she felt like she had wings.

"Anna that was amazing!" She said.

"Of course it was, darling. Now, did you already have dessert, or do you feel like seconds?" Anna asked.

"Oooh, seconds, please!" Steph replied.

"Then let's eat, sista! And don't avoid any details about your date!"

There's an 11 year age gap between these two, wow.

At one point in the beginning I was like: "What am I doing?!"

These chapters have "Disney" written all over them. I'm on a Disney and Dracula kick, so expect weird chapters. ^.^

Also, helmet on motorcycle lesson. XD

And Anna is Debwood's.
