We all went out for supper at the diner Electra works at. She wasn't working tonight and it honestly bummed me out. I was so happy she apologized and actually talked to me today. It felt horrible being ignored by her and I couldn't help but feel guilty; that was exactly how I had treated her last time. Maggie and Dover have came around a lot easier than she has, though. They have been hanging out with us since Brody and Bridget approached them. None of them are dating yet but like everyone else, they were just drawn to us. But Electra...she had always been different.

Maggie was always making fun of me for my "crush" on Electra. At the moment, she was telling a story about a time during track how her and Dover and Electra had gotten in trouble at a meet. I was only half listening, staring out at the fields as it started to rain. It was kind of a good thing I wasn't really paying attention. If I wouldn't have seen it, no one would've.

"Bridget. What's that? Pull over."

We pulled over about twenty feet from the lump of something. I got out of the passenger seat and started walking to it. It was when I saw the red hair that I started sprinting. Electra lay passed out in the tall grass. I picked her up with no problem as she was as light as a feather. I turned around and saw the shock on Bridget's face. Electra lay limp in my arms and I hugged her close to me as I got back in the vehicle.
"Is that Electra?" Maggie asked. "Is she okay?!"

Her hair was wet and curlier than ever. It clung to her face as I tried to push it away. Bridget quickly drove back to our house and I carried Electra in, cradling her close to me.

"Lay her on the couch. Blade! Go get some blankets!" Bridget started barking orders as soon as we walked in.

"Guys. It's okay. Don't fuss." Dover said.

We all turned to him in shock.

"Why not?" I asked a little harsher than I meant to.

"This always happens. She was running too hard."

"And how can you be absolutely sure?" I asked, the sharpness in my voice still there.

"She's wearing her running shoes. And why else would she be in the middle of nowhere?"

I relaxed a little. If anyone were to know, it would be Dover or Maggie.

"Something bad must've happened though. The only time she runs hard enough to pass out is when something bad happens. Like when Damien died, she-"

Maggie elbowed him in the ribs and gave him a death glare. He mumbled an apology and walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water upon Bridget's order. Once everything that could be done was done, we all sat around waiting for her to wake up. She began stirring about a half hour later. We figured since she was in an unfamiliar place, Maggie and Dover should be the first people she sees.

She twitched in her sleep for a while and I couldn't help but notice how small she was. I don't remember her being so short in her last life but I also didn't pay as much attention to her as I was now. Her red hair was plastered to her forehead with sweat as she continued to twitch. I was about to grab the phone to call a doctor when she shot up, wide awake.

"Where am I?" She immediately asked, getting up from the couch to stand in front of Maggie and Dover.

"It's okay, Electra. You're okay. You just passed out from running again. You're lucky the Lancasters found you when they did." Dover explained.

She finally looked up at the rest of us. I noticed tears in her eyes as she looked at me. She turned back to Dover and Maggie and took a shaky breath.

"Electra, what happened? The only other time you ran that hard was when Damien-" Maggie elbowed Dover again.

The tears spilled from Electra's eyes and I knew I could do nothing but watch. She only knew Maggie and Dover. We were strangers as far as she was concerned. I didn't expect her to tell what was wrong in front of us.
