Chapter 29

I called Matt.

"I'm not coming to get you"

"Matt I'm done so come"

"I don't believe you"

I rolled my eyes. "We talked. I'm done. Come get me"

".....alright I'm omw"

"Ok"

I hung up and waited for him.

I seen him pull up and I got in on the passenger side and he pulled off.

"So how did it go?"

"Don't really wanna talk about it"

"You sure?"

"I'm pretty sure."

He laughed. "Ok just making sure"

"Making sure of what?"

"That you don't wanna talk about it"

I laughed a little. "What are you talking about"

"Nothing. I don't know." He laughed a little.

"Are you drunk?"

"Who gets day drunk?"

"Me"

"Of course you would and the answer to your question is no"

"Ok"

It got quiet for a while until Matt broke the silence.

"Can you just tell me what happened"

"No Matt I don't wanna talk about it"

He sighed. "Alright"

We drove the rest of the way home in silence.

Lucas

I moved out of my mom's house like right after Christmas and moved to Miami. I had to get away from all that drama and shit. It was like I was in the middle of all of it. So I just got my shit and bounced. I moved by myself but Asia found me and told me the baby was mines. The DNA results proved it. The baby was a year old now and it was a girl. Her name was Lily. She looked like Asia more than anything. Asia and I got back together for Lily. Asia actually seemed like she changed. Ever since she had the baby she changed...for the good.

"Lucas can I have like $80"

"Why"

"To go get my nails done"

I sighed.

"Pleaseeeeee" she whined.

I rolled my eyes and gave her my black card.

"Thank you" she smiled and kissed me.

"Come right back Asia"

"Ok ok calm down" she took the keys and left.

"Daddy....eat eat" lily said.

She was only 1 and a half she could barley spit out words. Only words she knew.

"What you want to eat?"

She just shrugged her shoulders and she whined and rubbed her eyes like she was about to cry.

"Nah you sleepy" I picked her up.

She laid her head on my chest and started crying

"Hush Lily...." I rubbed her back getting her to calm down.

After a few minutes she calmed down and fell asleep laying on me. I loved her so much. She was my everything honestly.

I reached out to Yazmin the other day and she blocked me on all social media and blocked my number. That shit hurt I ain't gon lie. I ain't talked to Lady in a min either. When I loved down here I cut everybody off. Everybody except my mama. It was hard but I had too. For my own good.
