Fallon
Its been 2 days since she's been back in Atlanta. No one knows she's even here, not even Aaliyah.
Contemplating if she wanted to go to the emergency room or not. She decided to get dressed and headed in the direction of the hospital. She drove quietly throughout the busy traffic as she let her thoughts consume her.
After parking, she kilt the engine as she sat there in complete silence; allowing her thoughts to take over.
Grabbing her pursue she headed towards the entrance. Approaching the nurses station, one nurse notice her and followed protocol.
"Can I help you ma'am?" The nurse asked, placing a pen on the visitors clipboard.
Clearing her throat before she spoke; "Yes, I'm here to see August, August Alsina." Fallon stated nervously as she toyed with her fingers.
"Okay ma'am sign here and what is your relationship with Mr.Alsina?" The nurse question typing at the computer that sat in front of her.
"I'm his girlfriend, I been out of town on business and I got here as soon as I could." She partly lied, hoping that nurse Williams would buy it.
"Okay sign here and here is your visitors pass. He's on the 3rd floor in room 314. Make sure to knock before entering." Nurse Williams said before handing her a visitors sticker.
Placing the sticker on her shirt she made her way to the elevator. Hitting the number 3, she leaned her back against the elevator wall.
Once she heard a bing which knocked her out of her thoughts she got off the elevator headed in the direction of his room.
Taking her time walking down the hallway of the cold hospital, she couldn't help but feel nauseous. Its been almost 2 years since she last saw August and she just didn't know how things were going to go.
Approaching the door, she reached up to knock when the door swung open.
Jumping a little, the nurse apologized for scaring her but she told her she could go in but he's dead asleep.
Blowing out a breath of relief, she walked in and closed the door quietly. Making her way over to the little couch that sat on the side of the bed she took the time to look at him and study his face.
He had a bruised lip, slightly black eye, and a bandage wrapped around his abdomen.
Feeling the tears coming she said a silent prayer and called his name quietly.
"August?" she said just above a whisper.
She decided on practicing on how to explain herself while he was asleep.
"Look, I know that I left without calling but understand it was for my own reasoning."
"No I can do better than that." She said more to herself.
"First I want to apologize for leaving without talking to you first. And I know it was selfish of me to do so. But know that I love you and I never meant to hurt you at all, that was never my intentions. I had so much going on. From us, my mom, Erika, my dad, then Nathan popping up— it was just too much. But I truly am sorry and hope that you could forgive me." She stated honestly not realizing that she was now crying.
Looking up from her lap, she jumped! August was staring right at her. Not knowing what to say she stayed quiet as he stared at her intently.
