Erika in the MM

A week had passed and Fallon and Aaliyah were finally back in Atlanta.

Lee had yet to confront Odell about what she heard when he accidentally called her. Deciding to discuss this later, she played dumb until then.

While Trey was in a meeting with a parent. He received a phone call regarding about Erika. She was admitted into the hospital for what she thought was a simple cold; but turn out she had a touch of pneumonia.

Her blood had been thinning out while taking chemo over the past two weeks and the doctors couldn't understand why.

Once Trey sent out a mass text to their friends; they wasted no time coming to the hospital.

Erika was laying there sleep. You could tell she was drained and just tired.

Walking up to her bed, Fallon rubbed her head. Closing her eyes she said a silent prayer and went to take a seat next to August.

Aaliyah was engaged into her phone she didn't see what everyone else seen.

Odell strolled in with Lauren right behind them. With August and Chris giving him that look— like I hope you ain't fucking this broad. Fallon mugged them.

Once Lee caught a glimpse of what was going on she just shook her head.

Lauren felt nervous but didn't show it. She knew she was a horrible friend to the only girls that ever befriended her— especially when no one else wanted to. But it was something about sleeping around with someone else's man — that was truly exciting and she just couldn't help herself.

Fallon

As Fallon sat there staring a hole in Lauren's face, August nudged her a little getting her attention.

Looking up at him he asked was she okay? Nodding she got up ; giving her sister a look to follow her out into the hall.

Once they made it into the hall Fall wasted no time.

"Are you going to check this nigga or do I need to?"

"It's okay sis I got it. If he's fucking her than I'm going to handle that personally."

Nodding Fallon walked back into the hospital room. She walked up to Trey.

"When she wake up give me a call. I'm going to head out I came as soon as our flight landed."

"Ight Fall. I appreciate it. I'll hit you up as soon as she get up."

Saying her goodbyes to everyone August followed her out along with Odell, Aaliyah, and Chris.

Trey

Sitting there staring at Erika. He couldn't help but feel the urge to cry.

His thoughts were interrupted by Lauren. Who he honestly forgot was still in the room.

"So, have you told her yet ?"

Looking over at her he shook his head.

"Naw I haven't had the chance too." He answered simply.

"Oh, well when are you going to tell her?"

He became angry at the thought. He knew he was prolonging the situation. But with Lauren reminding him didn't help.

"Look is this why you came? Because if it is you can see your way out!" He spat causing Lauren to jump at the bass in his voice.

"Well I was trying to help yo—"

"No your not. All you want to do is start some bullshit. You know like I know this isn't the place or time to talk about some like this. And since your worried about me do Fallon know about you and Nathan?"

Throwing her hands up, she walked out of the room.

"That's what I thought. Messy ass females these days." He said out loud.

Getting up from his seat, he paced back and forth. He knew he had to tell Erika but the state she's in he just can't do it.

Kissing her forehead he walked out of the room.

Aaliyah

I invited Odell over to my apartment. I could tell he was hesitant at first like he knew what was going to happen.

We were in the living room. Which I know through him off. We never just sit in the living room.

After getting a bottle of water. I took a seat.

"So, is there anything you need to tell me?"

I questioned giving him a chance to redeem himself— from getting this South Memphis ass whooping.

Shrugging he shook his head no.

Nodding my head. I asked— "did you know you called me Thursday?"

He looked at me confused.

"Well when I answered you know how ratchet I can get. And you know what I heard?"

He shook his head.

"Open yo mouth and talk Odell Beckham Jr."

"Na what you hea?" He said lowly.

"Anyways I heard a little shuffling and out of no were I heard a females voice and then moaning. You want to tell me who she was?"

Running his hands down his face ; he laid his back against the couch.

"Look Lee I'm so—"

I cut this nigga off and punched him dead in the eye.

After beating his ass I found out who the hoe was. I cant wait to tell my sister.

August

After leaving the hospital I followed Fallon back to her crib.

I know she's going through it. But as her friend I wanted to get her mind off of things.

Once we made it inside. I followed her up to her room.

"How you feeling ?"

"Honestly? Fucked up! I hate seeing her like that. With this going on and my company. Let's not bring up the fact that the woman who gave birth to me and Lee , called me while we were in California. She stays here in Atlanta and she wants to meet up with us to talk about some important stuff."

I stood there and let her get it off her chest. I just wanted her to know I'm here for her. As her Friend, her man , or not; I got her.

"What was so important you left us with an alcoholic ? One who didn't know the first thing about taking care of two little girls. I sacrificed my whole life into taking care of my little sister. Everything I did was for the well being of her. I prayed every night for god to bring my mama back. I just wanted the privilege to be a child and grow up like a normal teenager and make mistakes. But I convinced myself god had gave up on me."

I pulled her into my chest. Kissing her forehead.

"Listen to me. You did a good job in raising your sister—look at her traveling doing what she loves to do. Your an entrepreneur making a name for yourself. You may not have had the child hood you see in movies but God put you through that for a reason. Never question his plan. Trust me its greater than yours."

Nodding into my chest. She looked up at me with those pretty hazel eyes.

I grabbed her chin bringing her face closer to mines giving her a soft peck on the lips.
